American Song writer Magazine has several lyric " contests " each year. I decided to enter my lyrics. I never received a reply from them indicating that they received my entries, and I never heard from them indicating whether or not my entries were reviewed. After several weeks, I decided to send them an email. They responded stating that they NEVER received my entries or my payment. I told them that my bank verified that they did received my payment . Since they're indicated that they never received my entries I told them to send me a refund. As soon as they heard the word " refund " they suddenly changed their story and stated that yes, they received my payment and that they also reviewed my entries. They claimed that the reason why I never heard from them is because their policy is that they NEVER inform the people who enter their contests. They only contact the " winners " ! This magazine has NO accountability or acknowledgment of their " contests ". There is NO verification that my lyrics were EVER seen or reviewed ! They just took my money and did nothing whatsoever for it ! This is nothing but a scam ! I want a full refund of $ 30.00.
