American Power and Gas review: Unscrupulous and shameless

I tried AP&G when a sweet customer service rep signed me up. While there was a very attractive short term fixed rate, I was assured that when it switched to a variable rate, it would be reasonable, citing that fixed rates actually charge more because they have to cover for when their energy costs go up. NEVER AGAIN! My fixed rate started at $.08/kwh and skyrocketed to my last bill after switching out from them @.3495/kwh! Don't be fooled. Even after switching out, they had two different reps call, promising even more promotions. I will never do a variable rate again, and I will certainly NEVER use AP&G, as their variable rate was way beyond excessive. I'm surprised that the Better Business Bureau would ever allow a company like this to do business anywhere.
