TO everyone out there dont sign up for this ###. This place is a scam. I will keep my post short but contact me with any questions, i will try my best to help. They give you false information. They make up prices to as you go along they constantly make you think your getting this great package deal and that its just for you dont tell anyone lol. After you sign up they will call you to try and get you to pay off your balance and they will give you a few hundred discount, so you fall for that and pay them off to try to save money. Once you have paid them off your screwed. Forget getting any appointments you want. forget getting good service, forget getting the right treatment. They will use every excuse you can think of to brush you off. Our machine broke down. We have no appointments. Were under staffed. Our employee has been injured we cant do that treatment no more bla bla bla... plus you have no knowledge of what machines they are even using on you. Lets just say i spent over $5000 had most treatments done on me the first time after i paid them off in 2 months i started to receive the worst customer service you can think of, the worst treatments the worst experience of my lifeeeeee. I own a surgery center and i still didnt expect this from any company, they should be closed down and out of business, some people get a loan just to pay for this [censored]tttt. TRUST ME DON'T GET SUCKED INTO IT... :( (THESE PEOPLE HAVE NO IDEA WHATS HEADED THEIR WAY, AM NOT THEIR AVERAGE CUSTOMER TO JUST LET THIS GO, I HAVE NOTES OF EVERY SINGLE CONVERSATION, EVERY SINGLE BEFORE AND AFTER PICTURES, EVERY PERSONS NAME I HAVE SPOKEN WITH, EVERY APPOINTMENT DATE EVERYTHING THEY DID THAT WAS AGAINST RULES AND REGULATIONS IS HEADED THEIR WAY. Purchased the Cellulite treatment (Velashape/smooth) paid over $2700 was guaranteed that my legs would be smooth and supple, Tiffany the manager showed before and after photos of finished results stated that the service was guaranteed and if I was not satisfied they would continue with the service until the desired results were achieved. I was VERY emphatic about wanting my legs to be smooth and dimple free. "Absolutely" she stated and again guaranteed the treatment. To make a long story short paid for the service, half way through I saw NO results; it was discovered they were reducing my thighs rather than smoothing, so they FINALLY switched the head of the machine which supposedly smooths the surface. Still during this whole process I am seeing NO results! I started FEB of 08 and it is May 1 08, my before pictures are just as cruddy as when I walked in! NO difference!---to make matters worse they came in and said they were stopping the treatments! Anyway, I am not going to argue I'm going to serve paper and we can sort things out in court! I have ALL of there brochures and materials! My question is does anyone have a email address for corporate so I can serve them? Anything is helpful.

To whom it may concern,
There is a large billboard sign promoting the American Laser company for the removal of unwanted hair along Route 9 west, just west of Martinsburg, West Virginia.
It shows a picture of a young woman with a great figure in a bikini. Her head is cropped off intentionally in the picture. I realize the cropping is done to protect her identification.
This is offensive because women have enough trouble trying to hold up their image as a person as it is, and this picture shows her to be nothing more than a sex object. Because of the cropping of the picture, her face can't be seen, but her bikini does little to conceal her chest and the gential area, even though the bikimi covers it up.
There are too many males who value a woman by their chest and her gentialia. This picture promotes the wrong image.
I would appreciate it if you could change the picture in the future, if not this billboard as well.
Thank you, Steve Fehlauer

I "won" an American Laser package at a bridal expo. I decided to take advantage of it even though I would have to open a Care Credit account to pay for the remaining amount. At the time I purchased the package, I was pregnant and not able to take advantage of the package. Before I had the baby, we moved out of state and do not live near an American Laser. I have contacted AL over 20 times to have this refunded. You either have to leave them a voice mail (which they never return) or when the rep is speaking with you, you suddenly get cut off. I want the amount refunded to me because I am not using the package. This has been going on since April, almost 4 months and I have been "assured" more than once that I would be refunded ASAP. Unless you plan on paying straight up, don't go to American Laser!

I started out seeing them for hair removal in 2017 they sold me a package for Photo Facial and i left with 50 2nd degree burns all over my face and neck and chest. i am 1/2 hispanic and my skin was too dark for treatments but they told me i was a perfect candidete. Nor did the hair removal services work. At this point 2017, i have called numerous times to the Wauwatosa office and the Corporate office . i have not recieved one returned call from either of them. I even tried to file complaints through the BBB and still no response. I got smart and certified a letter to the CEO Gary Graves and to the Medical Director Dr Turok at their Michigan corportate office.. Well it took 4 weeks but i finally got a call from a manager in the customer service office. i guess we will see where this goes...

Paid a ridiculous amount of money for no results. Was offered a refund, but was told I would have to wait 8-12 weeks to get it, which is unheard of at any legit company. However, I waited and over 12 weeks later, I still have not seen anything, and they can't offer an explanation. I never would have signed up for this if my sister did not work there. I thought if anything they would treat me ok becuase my sister works there, nope they didn't care. So I have filed a complaint with the bbb, and I will make it my mission to continue to tell people what a scam this company is.

I wish so much that I had found this site before my visit to american laser. Please file a complaint with the bbb so it will go on record>
Http://welcome. Bbb. Org/

I was promised results that I would "just love" and signed up for a $2, 700 firming package. I didn't have much "damage" to improve, so I was assured that it would probably take even less than the package treatments and I could use the others for maintenance throughout the years. Right... No results, 3 managers later.. No hope of a refund.

Please file a complaint. Anyone knowing of a tx class action law suit, let me know.

American Laser Centers advertises that a satisfaction is guaranteed for their laser hair removal service. I have gone to my appointments and done everything that I was supposed to for 3 years. This treatment was supposed to take 6-8 treatments and I have been going about once a month for three years and the last 6 months have been double treatments each session and still haven't seen appropriate results (have to shave every day). The girls in the office that treat me have said I should be seeing more. I have tried the more powerful laser and gone for double passes every 3-4 weeks and still haven't seen the results. I have called the office manager, Dana several times regarding the treatment not working and she refused to return my calls or would call me back and give me the run around for weeks. When I ask for a supervisor for her, I have been informed that there isn't anyone else to contact. I paid approximately $900 for this service on the condition that if it didn't work that there would be a refund since satisfaction is guaranteed and Dana has said taht legal agrees that I am not seeing results and the Regional Manager has said that they would treat other areas or provide additional services to compensate me but if it didn't work before why would I try a different area?! I think that 3 years is more than enough times for this to work if it was going to. I was told that I needed to do four double passes and they would address things at that point but then they just offered more services as compensation. I completed this in January and they refuse to address it.

I paid $2600 in Jan 2017 for a skin tightening/microdermabrasion package that the American Laser Center website claims will "tighten sagging skin and naturally lift wrinkles at the jaw line, around your eyes, at your brow line and around your mouth and cheeks". At the time of my purchase, Von was the clinic manager. Since that time (less than a year), the clinic has had three other managers.

After a few treatments, with no results, I talked with the next clinic manager, Holly. She was considerate enough to "reset" my package and assign a specific technician to me. Two months later there were still no skin tightening results, I asked for a refund. My case was sent to "medical" for review. After six weeks and no word from AL, I called and found out Holly was no longer the manager. She has been replaced by Lindsey. Lindsey agreed to look into the status of my refund request. A month later and no response, I called and was told that I had to go through three more treatments to be considered for a refund.

I went through the three treatments, which took five trips to the clinic. The additional trips were needed because the technician assigned to me was not at the clinic for my appointment twice. When the three treatments were over and (surprise) no results were seen, I again requested a refund from Lindsey. She agreed to determine the refund procedure and submit a request.

A week later, I followed up with Lindsey and was told a refund would not be made because AL "does not guarantee" results from that procedure. I suppose AL does not consider the written claims as a "guarantee". I inquired why I was told that I could qualify for a refund if I went through 3 more procedures if a refund was not possible. Lindsey agreed to discuss further with her regional manager.

No word from Lindsey, so I called the first of December and was told that Lindsey was no longer the manager. The new manager was Jessica. I have left messages for Jessica to call me three times and no call back has been received.

Bottom line - it appears that hair removal is not the only service that AL sells that people do not see the claimed results and for which AL will not stand behind their guarantee or in the case of skin tightening, their written claims.

I also went to american laser and they will not give me a refund. I had a c-section 3 months before and was in intense pain over their attempt. They kept saying it should be fine even though I was crying. Finally the girl stopped. I went to my doctor and my ob said to wait atleast 1 year and my primary care dr said I am not a canadate for this procedurre. Even with 2 doctor notes stating that I am not a canadate, they still are not giving me a refund. I would like to join the lawsuit and I also know of another person too. apache61392@hotmail.com They also refused to give me my medical records. Perhaps this is a medical malpractice issue too since they ignored me?

Buyer beware! I did not do my homework before I spent my $$ so let me warn you! Do not use this company! I paid $1500 for upper lip/chin hair removal. After over two and a half years of time spent going to appointments (And I drove about 3 hours to get to some of them!) the hair remained. The product did not work! What I was left with was a white scar on my chin from being badly burned by one of their technicians. They took pictures of me, one of the techs even remarking at how terrible mine was. I hounded the company for a while to get my refund and went to my mailbox today... There was an envelope—with half the amount. Half. I called them up and the customer service rep told me they aren't legally obligated to refund at all. I signed the contract. Granted, I was the stupid one who signed without doing research. Even on my friend, it only partly worked. So what is the point of going if you still have to wax and tweeze after years of appointments! Ladies stay away from this! Go to a company that gets good reviews.

I paid $[protected] fake discount) and buy one get one free package for laser hair removal in the chin area, for a total of $1260, 6 session with 2 years contract.
When I went for first appointment the nurse told me the services was $600, I told her I was priced $1560 + $300 discount for a total of$1260. She advice me to contact manager, which I did but she did not call me back, until I called the office hiding my phone number. She told me that was the right price, but she would not confirm with any document or price list.
Anyway I contacted the customer service to ask about pricing to compare what I paid with what they advertise, they confirmed that service start at $600.
Made a complaint with better business bureau.
Complaint still in action.
I would like to know if anyone has been priced the same for the chin area ($1560).
I have been asking for a price list to compare what they say with what I paid, but they are not cooperating. In order to cancel my contract I have to be able to prove that I was given I price different from others for the same service.

I signed an online form for a chance at aq $300.00 discount cerificate on opne of the packages ALC offered. They called me and informed me I had won the certificate and would I be interested in coming to the Woodlands (166 miles from my home one way). To discuss one of the packages they offered. I signed up for the Velashape for reduction in the abdominal fact and surgery scarring under the skin. They afforded me an extra day which was 5 treatments. Then informed me due to the money I spent I was considered a VIP member and eligible for furture discounts on other packages and also should I get a friend to sign up I would receive a $250.00 check. They assigned me VIP# on hand out cards for future ferences of 907804. I referred a friend and she spent nearly $3000.00 on 3 packages.

NEVER DID I EVER RECEIVE THE $250.00 FEE REFFERRAL THEY SAID BECAUSE SHE HAD NOT PAID $1000.00 CASH AND MADE PAYMENTS INSTEAD I DID NOT QUALIFY. NO WHERE IN THEIR ADVERTISING IS THIS STATED AND IS CONSIDERED DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING. AT one time the new manager said a client had just signed up for a package and paid $1000.00 paid she paidshe could put could use my number as the referral. ANOTHER LIE

Please be aware the services they offer are for people under 45 years old. They do not tell you that. You can buy a dermabrasion machine endorsed by the Dr.s show which is just as good as theirs. Also, the laser hair removal system takes a year which they don't tell you and you buy a machine tht does the same thing in the convenience of your home. You can research the internent and find FDA approved cosmetic machines that will do the same as their $1500 to $2017.00 packages do.

I went for a treatment on Sept 3, I think that was the Friday before the Labor weekend. It is unbelievable, there was a nurse that was drunk and she was there doing treatments early in the morning, you can literally smell her from far away!
Totally unprofessional, highly negligent and ultimately dangerous. Her name was Darci! What's unbelievable is that she's still there doing treatments! I am going to complaint to the nursing board! The manager and the company should not let us patients suffer through this negligence.

American Laser is one of the most unprofessional and dishonest companies I have ever worked with. Their technicians give poor treatments, talk about inappropriate topics and are not trained well. Their services do not work - I have been receiving laser hair removal for 4+ years with very little results - not worth the $4, 000 I paid for the services. They have very poor customer service - they do not return calls and they do not act professional when you are on the phone with them. They will tell you anything you want to hear to get you to buy their services, but they will not tell you about all the loopholes they will use to get you to have to pay more money down the road. Buy their services from a professional company like a dermatologist DO NOT buy from American Laser.

I won... ya right... I supposedly won a drawing for a $1500. Certificate so I went to the center for the
consultation. That $1500 turned into another $1200 they signed me up to finance. After 3 months (3 treatments)
I called to reschedule a missed appointment only to find out that they are closing the clinic and moving to Tampa.
Not only didn't the treatments work, no two were performed alike. No reduction in Hair or renewal of the facial areas they promised would have immediate results.
Would anyone like to get together and get our money back? Many voices are better than one... contact me at nomorelaser@yahoo.com

I totally agree. They are supposed to screen the real candidate who can respond to the laser really well to kill the follicles. Some people don't respond and even have adverse reactions to the laser. Side effects include burns, rashes, pigmentation, dark spots, moles and more...it depends on individuals. I have never gotten horrific side effects(lucky I am) but blisters and red marks in a past. American Laser Skin Care don't hire medical/health care professionals(maybe to cut the cost of pay?) to perform laser except the state of California. Even RNs at American Laser Skin Care(American Laser Center) say different things every time I go and it is ineffective sometime. I think the setting of the laser machine is wrong. I got soooo frustrated by their answers. I felt confused and stopped asking questions. I just wanted to finish laser treatment package I purchased when I signed up. That's why I don't want other people to get into the huge debt! You can look for the medical office where real professionals/technicians do the work. It's much safer and more reasonable in price wise. You want No contract, No hassles, and No lies! Take care.

FYI Big ol' fluffy bushes that could scare a weasel out of a tree are out. It is a subtle way of telling girls to keep that "boxwood" in good trim. Lest that man go elsewhere.
