The kitchen walls, cabinets, and the living room wood floor in my house were damaged by a water leak from a faucet behind the refrigerator. I did not notice the leak until a small stream of water showed up under the refrigerator, but by then the drywall had soaked a lot of water, the cabinets had fungus and bad smell, and the floor wood was discolored. I called a plumber immediately. The plumber fixed the leak but suggested that I file a claim with Allstate, because the damage would need remediation for mold. Allstate adjuster came about seven days later, looked around, and saw the extent of damage, but said that insurance would not cover it because it was not caused by accident. I hired a public adjuster who filed a claim, but that too was declined. I had different contractors come and repair the damage following mold remediation protocol at a total expense of about $74000 out of pocket. Allstate was simply a fraud, or the woman adjuster who came to make her decision was a racist person.

Desired outcome: I would appreciate reimbursement of expenses less the deductible.
