On 2-6-22 We signed a contract with Allied Renovations (Brandon McCallister) for the installation of an inground Fiberglass pool for $53,700.00, this was to include all permits, materials and labor.. On 2-6-22 we gave Mr. McCallister a check for $5000.00 as a deposit and was told the installation process would be complete in April 2022. We supplied Mr. McCalister with all of the information and documentation he requested, including a certified copy of a survey of our home at 3914 Via Miralesta, St. Louis MO 63125 located in St. Louis County Missouri.
After Mr. McCalister cashed our check of $5000.00 he became difficult to contact. Mr. McCallister started off answering some of our calls but instead of moving forward with the process, he continually came up with excuses of why he was unable to start the project. In anticipation of him beginning work, we removed the above ground pool that we had been enjoying for years along with the pool deck to make room for construction. After months of nothing being done to even start the project, we contacted him and told him that we wanted our deposit back and wished to cancel the contract. Mr. McCallister told us that he had already spent the $5000.00 but would pay us back as he collected more money from other jobs.
As 2022 was coming to end, Mr. McCallister told us that he would start the pool in the early spring. By April of 2023 nothing had been started or ordered. It was clear he was not going to install a pool and was keeping the $5000.00 deposit.
We called Mr. McCallister on:

He refused to take our calls or call us back and then eventually blocked our number so that he would not get any of our calls.
I texted him and he stated that he had soil samples, permits, labor and restocking fees and that only $1200.00 was left of our $5000.00. I asked him for soil samples, permits and anything else he allegedly paid for, he told us that he had already given them to us and that it's not his fault that we backed out of the contract.
Allied Renovations (Brandon McCallister) was recommended to us by “Dan” with Metro Pools and we assumed it was a reputable company. After looking into Allied Renovations and Brandon McCallister we have found that on 3-5-21 the Attorney General of Illinois states that Allied Renovations, LLC entity status is “ involuntary dissolution”. Mr. McCallister has been knowingly operating fraudulently under the Allied Renovations LLC name and knowingly wrote the contract under the dissolved company.
We are seeking assistance in recovering our $5000.00 deposit and hopefully making others aware of the unscrupulous Mr. McCallister and “Allied Renovations. I believe he may currently be doing business under the name of Prestito’s Home Solutions.
I will include copies of the contract, text messages, his business card, etc.
If at all possible, we would greatly appreciate any assistance you could offer.
Thank you,
James & Liz Feldewerth
