Alleviate Tax review: Do not use this company

First time contacting them Olivia Berdyna the representative assured me that it would be around the same price ($5000) as another quote I had received from another company but would not give me a confirmed price. and that with my tax situation they could most likely get my back taxes lowered by a lot. Then had to pay $265 to proceed with going with this company assuring me it would be close to that price. Then into the next stage talking with Jason Haber guaranteed me that if I committed to signing the contract, they would be able to stop the IRS from garnishing my paycheck within a month. Signed the contract and Jason come back with a charge for their services at $7200. I asked why Olivia had said it would be close to $5000, and he had no response. This did not happen and after several attempts to contact them, had to call customer service to get a call back. Once Omid Salimpour called me back, he stated that they cannot stop the garnishments until we reached a deal to submit to the IRS. A month later Omid called me to give me a deal they had put together and it they did nothing to reduce my taxes for interest or my bill. He stated $800 a month plus $367 for their service. So, they did absolutely nothing to reduce my taxes or have certain programs so promised I would qualify for. And since they dragged the progress on for 2 months, they want me to pat the full amount for doing nothing. I talked with Jim Ortiz today and he also said the other representatives should not have guaranteed me what they told me but this is where we are in the situation. I told him if i would have known all of this i would not have signed a contract with this company. After all that was promised that would happen i do not trust this company to continue with anything they say that they can get done.

I did receive a call back, and was told that yes, they were in the wrong for telling me false information and promising me what would happen if i purchased their services. They still tried to get me to continue with their company and i told them no i do not trust whatever they say they can do from this point on. They admitted they were wrong for guaranteeing It would be the around the same price as a different company and that they would get the garnishment to stop by the first on the next month. They asked me to stop with the better business bureau complaint yesterday and they would figure a way to resolve this matter later. I told them no, I don't trust your company to follow through with anything. I told them they have done nothing but submit a power of attorney to the IRS and they sent me spread sheets that was already produces by the IRS. They agreed with me but still said i should continue with paying them for their services. Also stated that after doing my own research, the IRS cannot garnish my Veterans disability pay, and if the IRS took the 25%-50% of my current source of income it would still be cheaper than paying for their services that now cannot guarantee results. They said i would have to contact Monterey Financial Services since I had to finance the money for their services, I told them that your problem since I am terminating your services. I also told them since they have all the phone recordings, they would need to provide them if I were to takes this to court for false information to sign a contract with their company. Theres no service they have actually provided and would like my money back since they have not provided any truthful services that they said they could provide. They said they would call me today after they talked to the board. Now they have changed their mind and said there is nothing they are willing to do and pay for the services they never provided. Will be taking legal actions.
