I am a married mom of a teenage daughter 17. She got mad, didn't want to follow the rules so she talked an adult stranger with a criminal record into filing a false CPS claim accusing me of hitting her in the nose. DHR picked her up and took her to this criminals home without even doing a background check on these people as they lied and said they knew our family. I had to call the Montgomery DHR to report this HUGE mistake DHR made. I am a law abiding citizen, never committed any type of crime, have been at my job over 10 years, have a masters degree, manage people, involved in all of my child's activities and sports, volunteer in our community, go to church and associate with State Leaders, and DHR is still harassing me and my family a year later. Because I follow the rules, I read that it is best to go along with DHR request so I did. The claim against me was dismissed but they still asked me to take parenting classes and a personality test which I did to satisfy them. The test was given by their chosen doctor and came back stating that I had no sign of any type of personality disorder which I already knew. The test also revealed that quite the opposite of what I was accused of by a stranger that I was a loving and slightly overprotective mom. Yet DHR is still harassing my family. Even after all of that and my daughter living with my dad, they still say we should have supervised visitation. It is these type of ridiculous cases our tax dollars are wasted on. While other children have needs and are begging for help, DHR is too busy harassing good family's for no apparent reason.

Desired outcome: Help find a resolution to help us remove DHR from our lives so that we can move past my teenagers impulsive mistake and live our lives in peace again.
