Pending transactions are misleading, and can be taken out at anytime, especially when there is not enough money in the account to cover them. I keep track of my transactions, and when they will be taken out, but it seems like whenever I don't have enough money in my account, the pending transactions will go through, even if they are slated for a future date, causing multiple NSF fees. It seems like predatory banking. I had two pending transactions that weren't supposed to go through until the 20th of March, but as soon as my account was low on the 19th, they were taken out, and I was charged almost $35 for each one. This is not the first time this has happened. Advia is very shady with the "available" balance on the banking app. The whole point of an online banking account is to forego actually writing down my transactions and keeping track of it myself. It is misleading a lot of the time, not presenting what I actually have to spend from my account. I was recently laid off from my job because of the Coronavirus, and the $120 that I was charged could have been used towards bills or something else essential that I may have needed during this time.
