Adam Ginsberg โ€” Scam

M Review updated:

With Adam Ginsberg recently doing the rounds in Australia to promote his workshops later this year in Brisbane and Sydney - I went along to his free 90 minute speal in Melbourne promoted by Empowernet. I have not signed up for anything despite being hounded by Empowernet. I googled to try and find out what "real people" have to say about Adam. I've not really found much, I did see on here (Complaints Board) complaints about Speedlings but the entries are a few years old now. I know Adam ran a 3 day workshop in Melbourne in July 2012. Adam appears to be rather precious about his online feedback and seems to have a defensive answer for all the negativity that's been published about him. My gut instincts are telling me to stay away BUT I'd like to hear more recent feedback from others. I'd really like to learn a lot more about selling on eBay (have been selling for abt a yr now) beyond the basics but I don't know where or how to learn that's helpful, not a rip off and ethical. There is a lot of flack on here about Matt and Amanda BiddingBuzz on this site. Would like to hear how others have got on?

    Hi,
Don’t waste your time, money and energy on this professional SCAM. The whole agenda here is to get your credit card details, charge your card as soon as possible and run away. There’s no call center at back end, it’s just an answering machine which hardly anyone answers. The software packages provided are freely available online (such as Jungle-Scout) and teaching material is freely available on resources (such as YouTube, Udemy). No one will pursue your concerns even if you are serious about your Amazon business, please don’t rely on these people.
This company was started with a different name and they keep on changing names to stay away from online complaints. They don’t have any way to review themselves on Google or Facebook. This company is not registered in Canada and its registered name in USA keeps on changing with time as per their plan to dupe people. You’ll easily find complaints in other countries such as Australia, Canada, USA, UK etc.
I lost my hard earned $1800 (USD) or $2500 (CAD) with this company and many others like me are being fooled on daily basis with much more amount. The minimum possible loss is $1800 (USD) or $2500 (CAD) and maximum possible loss will be $10, 000 (USD) or $14, 000(CAD). These people are smart enough to play round with average number of registrations at 1 event, their non-refundable policy and average time to cancel a plan with them.
The 1st live event is intentionally made free and branded using ‘Amazon’ name. They don’t have any association with Amazon, they simply use it to attract visitors without any authorization from Amazon. At the event, you’ll be introduced with Kings of internet selling (though there’s no way to verify that) or face of the company or marketing guys who will give nice sales pitch to push more registrations for 3 day workshop. Once you are convinced, you’ll be required to pay $300 (USD) or $409 (CAD) to attend a 3 day workshop in your city. During that workshop, marketing guys will again upsell you to sign up for a VIP Member for another $99 (USD) or $130 (CAD) to be paid in cash. As a VIP member, you get to hear 2 hours of extra Sales pitch every-day in the name of giving you secrets to sell on Amazon. As a VIP member, chances of you moving forward with other packages are higher so they want to focus only on those people afterwards. From 2nd day onwards, you’ll be regularly buzzed to buy a software package which they say they have designed and is worth multiple million dollars (again there’s no way to verify this). The software package payment plan is designed in such a way that you pay 50% fees in advance and remaining 50% fee as subscription fees on monthly basis to keep the plan active. The trick (which you’ll find later) is that 50% advance is non-refundable which means even if you cancel subscription they have already charged you for next 6 months and they have made their own money even if you cancel after 1 month. I signed up for basic plan in which I paid $1195 (USD) or $1443 (CAD) upfront with $299 (USD) or $436 (CAD) as monthly subscription. When I didn’t get any service, I tried to cancel my plan and that’s how I understood the entire story along with their agenda. The other plans in USD were advance and professional i.e. $3195 + $399/month, $5195 + $499/month respectively. They conspire to make good use of your entrepreneurial dreams, your excitement, your aspirations and your curiosity level. They also mention that they have met people like Tony Robins, Robert Kiyosaki etc to win your confidence.
My entire experience with these people has been horrendous. The hotline that's promoted during the events is not accessible immediately. I had to struggle to communicate with the mentor assigned to me and other people on Hotline separately to coordinate among themselves. Their services and recommendations haven't yielded even a little value except loss. The mentor assigned to me for name’s sake was absent when needed. I requested them to close my account on 20th March 2020 but didn’t receive any response from them even after multiple calls and email reminders. I didn’t receive any call from anyone to process my request till April 3, 2020. And finally, I have been told that my money will not be refunded.
It’s sad to see that such companies still exist in this beautiful world to shatter people’s dreams. I am very disappointed with Adam, his associates, and his affiliated companies. I urge authorities and regulatory bodies to help me get my money back from these people and to ensure that this doesn’t happen to other aspiring entrepreneurs.

An update for August 2019: Adam Ginsberg is a great salesman and promoter. The way he got 80% of the attendees to pay-up for the VIP option was simply amazing to me. I did not go for it. I was skeptical from the start and that proved to be true. There was so little content and so much hype and promotion, it was ridiculous. What I learned from the 3 day seminar could have been taught in 3 hours. So much fluff and hyperbole. And the financing "feature" was a hoax meant to rope you into very expensive consulting agreements with no guarantee of success. I applied for the financing and that resulted in minimal financing relative to my needs. Plus, the promise of zero percent financing was not a reality in my case.

I've attended a workshop for Adam Ginsberg in Chicago one month ago ( June 2019) after i received a free invitation.
This free invitation led to an extremely professional fraud by an expert scammer!
Adam is great at brainwashing and giving promises, yet when it comes to the reality he is building his empire on the dreams of the audience.
The free event was followed by a 3 days workshop which cost 299$, this event serves as a marketing tool and a financial resource for Adam and his gang.
I've decided based on his recommendation to join the protegé after being promised to get a financial support and loan of 15000$, so i could cover a big amount of the registration which was 19795$.
The agreement was to have full support, availability of mentors, coaching, etc.. accordingly i signed up and paid 500$ on the spot to start the struggle!
After 3 days ( which is the allowed period to cancel and get refund) I was told that i got approved only for 5000$ which is 1/3 the promised amount.
I contacted the supposed coaches on the provided numbers, they never answered.
Then i started googling and reading the reviews and was amazed by how many persons out there (and not only within USA but extended to Canada, Australia, etc.. ) were scammed and lost thousands of dollars .
I am sharing my experience as a lesson learned not to trust this guy and not to waste your resources following false promises.
Looking to what i get in return of the 500$ i paid, it's a bunch of useless papers and contact numbers which i believe never being put in work.
    Stay away of Adam Ginsberg!

I attend one of his free workshop yesterday 8 July 2019 in Toronto. I was only curious to know what to see which was expected for me. The event was like a superstar show. I felt i am meeting Tim Cooks or Besos in person. This is the American way to do it.

Questions you need to ask yourself:
    1. First trap: You got an inviation to attend it for free. Noone will give you anything for free.
    2. Second trap: All his talks were about his book to BUY, his software to BUY, pictures of his HOUSE worth $2.5 million and much more.
    3. Third trap: You need to register and pay NOW because no more space and bla bla bla.

I don't deny he is a good talker but he is excellent at brainwash. He may have successfull experiences and a very wealthy guy but it is too good to be true. It is also possible he shows success stories but i will bet this would be 1 or 2% of people who register.

I have lots of bad points during the 2 hours event yesterday. I will share only 2:
    1. I quote what he said to a universtity student: "Why wasting time at University, paying big money for tuition fee and end up working for someone, if you find a job".

    2. He starts with $899 for his package, then reduce it to $199, then adding gifts etc..m

To finish on it, I need to add that all positives comments you read about him in this blog are people who worked with him or get paid by him.

Did you heard about ponzi scheme. If not, read about it. What he is doing is even worse.

Our government need to do something about it. I hope Canada authority will check it. I also dont understand how Amazon allow this to happen.

Be careful, believe on yourself. Build your carrier step by step. You need to fail to succeed. Never give up. Keep trying.

We attended this seminar last weekend. I and my friend decided to leave after the first day. We felt that our time more valuable than to listening to how that guy is selling his software. It was no content at all! Much more information you can find from the others sources on the internet. His speech was focused on getting our trust by showing and telling personal stories, just to sell us more and more of his products! But this guy obviously has really excellent skills of a speaker, marketer and mind manipulator! Please DON'T WEST YOUR MONEY AND TIME. DON'T HAVE ANY EXPECTATION TO LEARN SOMETHING FROM THIS COURS! SAVE YOUR MONEY FOR YOUR BUSINESS!

@Viktor Bubnov I definitely wanted to share the perspective of this (like MANY of our You Tube Channel videos). It is a student of the workshop, just like you, who say things differently. At the workshop, you received a workbook, what was used as as the course material for instruction all weekend long. Even IF there was nothing else, that workbook can help you jump start into the right direction, as long as YOU choose the right direction. But when looking at things with a jaded view, you often aren't able to see what is right in front of you. The path to success is there. We have helped pave it for hundreds of students. The Leaderboard is the proof. Cheers! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mE2k7dee70I

Sitting in his thing (called workshop. don't think it is haha) right now. Conclusion: don't come pay $149 or 199 for the 2.5 day workshop and don't pay $130 for the VIP (not sure about the course that he's selling for $7000-20, 000 USD cos' I didn't sign up so can't make any comments haha). In my opinion, you can find better alternative information online. The info that he gave us is almost the same as what he said in the workshop. He and his team are here to mainly sell his software and classes. And those classes are not for people who want to start selling on Amazon cos' those people would not have that kinda money to invest in the course (with $7000 - 20, 000 USD, you can buy inventory and start selling yourself or open a small business in Calgary like those kiosks in malls, I think).

Another thing is that he doesn't seem to like when people ask him questions that he doesn't like or doesn't know. Example one guy asked about how long Amazon would store his products for before they return them to him. To me, clearly he doesn't know the answer and shut him down rudely and this also happened to others as well. He repeatedly show us number of dollars that his students are making but not much about how to get there.

Don't know what else to say. Just find a different alternative if you already did your research on how to sell on Amazon. But if you're brand new, you may get some info from his talk (not much tho haha).

@SD01 Remember it is all about perspective! We often have students come back to events singing the praises of what they learned with us. Adam clearly says in events that people can do it on their own. They can. The fact is that most people don't. And Amazon is a complex marketplace. So many barriers can challenge a new seller. We are here to simplify it. To lead through experience. To offer support. Just like anything else we learn in life, we can go it alone, or we can go the path of experience. It is simply one's choice. Good Day!

I am one of Adams coaching staff and I have to say that while I hear the concerns of this community, they are wildly unfounded and often the opinion of people who simply want to find the "bad" in things. I have worked with Adam and the team for nearly 4 years and what we have seen in that time is so powerful. In fact we watch it grow every day with the connection of our software to Amazons back office. These aren't simple "members" or by any means paid testimonials. These are people with real results reporting directly from their Amazon account. They are people who are willing to work for results and don't leave the responsibilities on others. They are people who make moves, not excuses. They are our Internet Mastery "Family".

While there are products and services offered throughout the workshops, remember this: Most people don't build a successful business starting with nothing. I owned retail brick and mortar shops that cost nearly $150k to open. Training and knowledge is not typically free either. Would you get a degree without cost? Or how about trade school certification? If you wanted to learn something you didn't know, how many classes out there are "free for the taking"? My point is that of course Internet Mastery offers tools and training and is a for profit business. How else do you think the team could fly across the globe teaching it. We realize the program is not for everyone and we will never hard sell anybody. In fact if you can't or don't want to make it work, we still encourage you to stay and continue to learn from the event you are attending. If you even learn 1 additional thing that makes something click for you, we want success for everyone. In fact we have had students attend past sessions that couldn't afford the program, stayed anyway, applied small changes to their lives that made a difference and actually sought us out down the road to sign up for a package. There is power in that.

Our goal isn't to get in petty arguments with people, make people look bad or name call. Our goal is to find the people that want to change their lives and are willing to work for it. Those that see that making an investment in themselves and experts who can show you the way is a step towards a new future. If it doesn't work for you, that is OK! We hope to see you again and sincerely hope that something does click to help you change your life, but we know that you certainly can't expect change doing the same old thing you always do.

I, for one, am proud of what I do. I personally run my own online business and have literally watched it change my life. I have seen that for so many students in the time I have taught with Adam, which is why I feel lucky to come to work each day and even luckier to fly to workshops to meet potential students like you. One thing I know for sure...no one makes changes happen with excuses.

    Best Regards,
    Corinne

@CoachCorinne Worth paying the couple days of seminar/training:meeting. Dinner, small gift package and software, along with highly motivated observers and coaches! Well worth absorbing what information can get in so little time. There is no negatives at all, from the beginning till end of workshop. They were not pushy! But more in a respectful and professional manner, even to Observers or Prospectors who can be rude, downgrading and will comment only to their negativity, then leave without giving this workshop a chance! I went to the workshop at the Hawaii Convention Center, Ala Moana Hotel and in Kapolei Embassy Hotel On Feb 16-18, It is Well worth the Time, Meeting, Getting the VIP package deal and mostly all the Positive Information Offered!

@CoachCorinne Great post, Corinne. I have learned so much the Internet Mastery family and learn something new with each video. I get great response and answers to my questions and know that anything worthwhile takes hard work. And in fact, that will be what makes it more precious to you is that you worked hard to get to where you want to be. You put in whatever time and effort to get to where you want to be in life and that's why it will mean the world to you. I was never hounded to spend any money I was not comfortable with and it was even suggested if it wasn't within my budget to do it at a time in my life when it fit better. I am on the road to success and I will not stop until I get there. Thanks to the coaches at the Academy for always being there and answering all my questions no matter how insignificant they are or how many times I need to ask. You guys are the best.

Yikes! I am about to attend his 2.5 days workshop on the first weekend of September in Edmonton. I already went to the free 2-hour one just a couple of days ago. I admit I was sold to the idea of financial freedom, especially that my family is in a dire need of a financial breakthrough. I’ve always been skeptic but I guess the desperation has brought out the gullible in me and even before the Q&A portion started, I was one of the many who signed up for that next workshop worth 200 CAD.

Now that I’ve read this thread and a number of them in social media comments as well, I am so grateful that somehow I’ve been “warned” before wasting more time and more money to fall for his selling tactics. He was quite impressive, yes, but now I’ve recalled that even though that first event was for free, there was really not much to learn (that you can’t through online), and a lot had no actual substance but basically showing ‘success’ stories of people (members) his software which I still find shady.

All these unethical practices that he divulges as mentioned by previous commenters here really scared me of what more he can acually do. So thank you for saving me my precious 2.5 days of my life and future money. Whew!

@BeSkeptic I totally agree with all those who commented negative about him. I have spent $149 to attend his workshop, its only good to get some knowledge about online selling. I was skeptic and didn't spend any more money. Frankly speaking, I couldn't sleep one night, just thinking that i have missed the train. Now, after seeing all these comments I totally agree with them. Go and attend the workshop but be strong not to buy any of his packages.

Thanks for the recent updates about Adam Ginsberg guys...me and my wife went to the free seminar today in Marriott hotel downtown of Calgary and were impressed how his team delivers the speech as if it was so true. They will have a workshop on Aug and Sept here again in Calgary. What everybody says were the same thing happened you need to pay for a 2day and half to attend their workshop for 200cad. From the free 2 hour seminar he showed like access to amazon showing the top seller and how much they sell, showed his 3m house and even showed videoclips from some top earners saying that if not because of Adam they wouldn't be having that financial freedom blah blah blah unfortunately my wife paid for the workshop for both of us since the offer is only 100cad for that time being. At least we will be avoiding the rip off of buying such stuff they were selling to the attendees. Guys be aware I hope soon these people will be reprimanded as soon as possible because they mislead people from a free seminar from a lying and unjust business tactics.

Adam ginsberg a self styled internet guru of ebay and amazon is a fraud, who is making other people pay for doing seminars to promote his fraudelent schemes and software which will make people rich. I lost $200 on his 3 day workshop in which he only professed about why and why you should buy his softwares and his services and he is staging a drama eith his team of [censored]s and few people who sit among audiences and profess his ideology and ask him questions regarding his theory and philosophy of why you should buy his softwares. I atteneded his workshop for one and half day and its a wastage of money and time, I felt like I have thrown my money in garbage. Adam ginsberg talk about hardwork, ethics and commitment whereas he is not even close to such terminology in his actions and in his speech. His training session begins with why promotion of his software and then he produce some numbers of profits people are making using his software which is totally priivacy thing because if somebody is making money on amazon why would they disclose those figures. Then he introduces you to some people whom he describes as they profit makers from his software, those millionaires are there for two days having nothing to do then attend his boring and full of [censored] workshop and nodding head when he ask them some questions they are not even good actors who can’t remember there lines as everytime they have to think how much profit they have made and why people should buy softwares, set of people on both days. He says that he gonna talk about private labeling which he only talk about 10, 15 minutes and then wastes time and schedule that on next day which is the last day and the workshop starts at 9 o’clock and he did not start tlking till 9:30 am and then for rest of 2 hours he talk to people and try hard to sell his scamware software and why they should go on with him on cruise and join them and shows pictures of that cruise with only same set of people on his team and the so-called millionaires and the funny part those pictures are liked by only 4 to 5 people even when he boast of having 50, 60 people onboard with him on cruise. I couldn’t take it anymore and left the douchy drama before the lunch break. I wanted to confront him but my wife doesn’t want me to but definitely I felt that I have wasted my hard earn money on a fraudster a scammer and that’s why I amd here to warn other people not to go to his workshop after attending his free 3 hour workshop as he is gonna do nothing apart from hard selling is software which is priced at $20, 000, $11, 000 and $6900 with payment plans and all ke nds of assurances and speech about hardwork and not staying in comfort zone and taking risk. Please it’s better to have a brain storming session with yourself or your partner about the type of business you want to start or expand instead of going to his fraudshow. Adam Ginsberg, what he is teaching is a lot of LIES to sell him own product. He lies about many things that are working successful, that they are not successful to sell his coaching and mentoring program. He is very rude and disrespectful to his audience, he jokes about his distasteful comment...to brush it off as funny. He was confronted that he was a fake and when is he going to teach what he advertise about the "Amazon Workshop" and he insulted the person asking the question, the entire room supported the person asking he question, because they felt the same way, that what he was doing was only telling stories about how his product works and everything else out there doesn't.

He is very unethical, he lied about Amazon requirement to apply for ungated category, (you need many, many separate websites) and his product can help you to steal other people website to get approved for a particular category and then you can delete it, he assure you that Amazon is aware of this, I verify this with Amazon and this is not true. The ONLY, requirement to apply for undated category is to have an invoice, with proof of purchase from the manufacturer.

He started off with drop shipping and he was successful but, assures you that now drop shipping is not working, and you will be a failure if you attempt it...he truly lies about a lot of things to validate and justify why you need his program. This person is UNETHICAL, I strongly feel, if his teaching method is so shady, imagine what the coaching and mentoring program will be like...and after reviewing all the above comment, I can see why they were all NEGATIVE. Please do not invest your money in any of his program or even go to the workshop, you will learn 10% of Amazon content, which you can get from watching youtube videos.

Adam Ginsberg, Amazon workshop June 22-24, in Toronto, is a scam a fake. Please do not invest in his program, and believe all the negative comments above as they are a 100% true.

I am not going to attend the last day tomorrow as it is a waist of time. No content value, $149.00, poor investment. He is very rude, disrespectful and literally LIED about dropping not working/being successful to sell his product, LIED, that you need to create many website to be approved for ungated category on Amazon...after the 1st day, I called amazon to verify this and it was confirmed that all u need to be approved is an invoice with proof of sale...that’s it. He lied about 70% of his information to validate his product is what you NEED to succeed in Ecom business and without his mentoring and coaching program you will FAIL. His teaching is unethical. My honest opinion and feedback is to stay away from this guy. He is extremely rude whilst present...I learnt the hard way...by losing $149.00๐Ÿ˜ !

I have attended Adam's Amazon Business Workshop in Calgary for $100. What a waste of time!!! Useful information Adam provided could be summed up into 2 hours... We spent there Friday evening, all Saturday and half of Sunday. 80% of the speech was focused on getting our trust (showing pictures of the family and telling personal stories) to sell us more and more of his products! Yeah, who wouldn't buy his great package for $30 000!!! Than you can go for a cruise with him... I am sure he will sell you more during the cruise! What a joke this guy! But he has really excellent skills. Amazing speaker, marketer and mind manipulator! Kind of interesting seeing this in practice.

There are better ways to spend your money and time! ;)

@Ahonaa Dude, me and my brother were at the same seminar. We feel your pain.
But we never went on Sunday, because we figured out his scam as soon as he showed us his ridiculously-priced products.
No one should ever trust this filthy money-grubbing leech EVER.

I attended ginsberg's internet mastery course this weekend in santa monica, ca. there's good and bad. first, the good - he does provide very helpful guidance and examples for selling on amazon using fulfillment by amazon - so if you're starting out and go to the free course (don't pay any fee, and you can just show up unregistered), you're fine. but do not pay any money during the course, just take in the general advice. it's meant really as a sales pitch to get attendees to pay $40k to be his "protégé", and they encourage attendees at the start of the seminar to pay $99 to get "consultations" during the seminar and to go out to dinner with him (as a group) - just don't sign up for any of that. that being said, he's pretty transparent about being misleading others by using fake websites.in his free seminar, he shows you a program where you can instantly capture other sellers ebay listings into your own fake site to use to enter trade shows that are restricted to wholesalers and to get access to certain restricted selling areas of amazon. so certainly he can't be trusted, but he's got a lot of knowledge about selling on amazon, and he'll share some of it in the free seminar. he'll also encourage you to sign up for $100k in credit (ostensibly to help you buy inventory, but obviously it can help you to pay him $40k!), through some third party where he claims he gets nothing in return, but I as aghast when he told us that he'd be informed whether our credit application was approved (sounds like a major violation of privacy, but I had no interest in applying). he's also very rude to some who ask questions, and even pauses during his presentation to make calls and answer texts - ginsberg's clearly in love with himself. he'll tell you about his "$3m" home and how he bought all these stocks that are worth way more than his purchase price, and he mentions about 5 times how he's friends with lou ferrigno. if you can suffer through that, you can still gain some good basic knowledge; just leave the credit card at home. then, go on your way and do things honestly.

@Internet Mastery Attendee He shared about how he would collect all the soaps, shampoo, conditioner, etc. from all the hotel he stayed at and asked for more throughout his stay, then re-packaged and sold them on Amazon for profit.

I bought into the adam ginsberg wave bought the package all for the software called spy rivals... for the first 3 weeks the software did not work properly. I could not trust the information that it was giving me. I know this because I was selling on ebay and I knew what I sold and what spy rivals reported back was incorrect... so how could I trust it with the other data... I t was a big ole mess, I even contacted get motivated to help intervene and they were a waste of time. all in all I wished the tools actually worked because if they did it would truly give you an advantage. he is a great freaking salesman, but super shady on customer service! so no I would not recommend doing business with him. I dont know if he is still selling on ebay but one of his stores was under the ebay user id clickhereforbestdeals but it has since shut down. oh yeah spy rivals is not working again... good luck buyer beware, I hit him on twitter and he had his assistant email me threating to turn of my license because I was slandering him... lol he has some mean iron clad contracts slanted in his favor for everything... which in hindsight tells you what you are really dealing with. if the stuff just workd consistently I would be ok... but it doesnt

I am sitting in one of his 3 day seminars right now. I think I'm about to leave. It's Sunday and so far this morning and most of yesterday it's a sales pitch for his programs that range up to $35000. No content. I think the previous commenter statement that it was 20% content was overly generous. I came today because we are supposed to get a macro lens and he was supposed to cover shipping today . But so far nothing but selling his programs. And I'm starting to feel like my time is more valuable than that lens. Plus now he's sending each person out one at a time to meet with one of his proto gees I suspect for a hard sell.

This guy is so shady that I truly believe a lot of the positive comments on here were paid for by him. When I bought into his speedlings, many years ago, he had a ton of clauses in his agreement that were not made very clear. I remember there being a lot of loopholes that seemed to work in his favor. I spent thousands of dollars and didn't make a penny, and I put the work in believing that I was going to be rich like he promised. He pulls in people with his promise of getting rich and then takes your money and gets rich himself. I wish this guy would grab some ethics and stop doing this to people!

So we went through the Toronto weekend seminar (Jun 3-5, 2016) and as usual there were a bunch of people that went ahead and bought their higher education packages and I wish them all the luck in becoming Millionaires for 2016 as depicted by Mr. Adam Ginsberg.

Overall, there were around 240 people attending the seminar (paid US$59). Then there were around 140 people upgraded to the VIP package (paid additional CAD$130 cash) - had free dinner, free cell phone lens, template optimizer premium version. At around noon, there were 3 that signed up for the apprentice level at USD$27, 495.

I believe Canadians are typically more conservative and Adam did make a comment that he seems to be getting less sign up at the same time Sunday comparing to the same timing in US cities. As Canadians we know that we are typically more conservatives and slower in making decisions and it could be a great thing when it comes to these high pressure seminars (not just Adams, but the Real Estates, Richdad, Stores Online, Stock trade etc. etc.). Out of most of the people I talked to, they have purchased the VIP package for additional CAD$130 but not go forward with the higher price products (starting from USD$2499 to $27, 000).

Overall, the 3 days Seminar is:
    - 20% Motivation / Get Rich / I am Rich you trust me
    - 60% Why you should buy my software, what problems software over come
    - 20% Real content and can be used info, some can be incorrect or out-dated.

    Software:
    (1) eBay Template Optimizer Normal - free included with admission
    (2) eBay Template Optmizer Premium / Site Builder Automizer - free with VIP
    (3) Razon - comparing all online eCommerce site to find the cheapest products to buy
    (3) Spy Rival - basically data mine Amazon to find out the sales ranking of a specific product and determine volume
(These products varies from the list that many earlier people listed)

Below are the pricing information for future readers as there are workshops scheduled all over the summer ...

    Interesting Timbit:
Adam actually told a real life example of how he leverages his 50 weeks of travel per year. When he checks into expensive hotels that uses nice shampoo products (ex: Aveda), he would ask the hotel for more shampoo so he can sell them on Amazon & eBay. He said he and his wife managed to get 60 sets of such products (Shampoo, Conditioner, Soap, etc) during a one week visit. I find that it is unethical for such a ~millionaire to do such a thing. He also once did joke about taking 2 towels per visit would earn more than the gentleman who wanted to import $0.05 towel from China at volume lots ... there might be some truth to it. Behaviours and thinkings like these hardly resembles anybody that makes millions but one that are living below their means.

You make your own decisions on whether you trust this guy - I simply present information & share experience. I would say out of the 20% real content, we did learn something - but as Adam will tell you again, time is the most valuable currency you have - is it a good way to use your weekend? ;)

I'm a techo, very comfortable with the web and selling online and with eBay. I understood and was pulled in by what Ginsberg was saying, and was actually at one of his seminars when he bought Speedlings (then Parklings) and offered a not-to-be-missed offer to get in on the ground floor. Needless to say I signed up for the lot, over $18, 000.
I can assure you I tried very hard and put in many, many hours trying to get it to make me money. To his credit, Adam also put in support structures to help us including mentoring calls from the US. But we never even broke even on our investment. Some of what Ginsberg offered was useful (like his EBay templates) but the bulk of it (like Speedlings) is based on the very shaky premise of making money through Internet advertising. It's shaky because it's unethical and Google don't condone Ginberg's model and are continually working to shut it down. Make one mistake or don't stay ahead of Google and they will shut you down. Ginsbergs model is not sustainable and can only work if you stay in the shadows.
Plus they lie. With me it got to the stage where they palmed me off for months and then refused to even answer my emails. I eventually ran out of energy and gave up in total disgust.
Needless to say I don't recommend that anyone do any business with Ginsberg beyond buying his book and maybe Template Optimizer. The rest of it is too difficult to make work and borders on illegal.

I found Adam to be a straight shooter and his staff to be extremely helpful. Even the people behind the table provided help when asked. I have not purchased any products to date however, I plan on taking this opportunity very seriously. As an International Author and eBay Powerseller, I was quite impressed with the level and depth of Adam's workshop. I see some purchased products and had negative experiences in Australia however, here in Canada, I am seeing just the opposite. Time will tell and I look forward to reporting nothing but success with Adam Ginsberg and his amazing staff.

It's crazy to see people comment with bad and/or negative experiences with Adam Ginsberg and what he offers because I've had nothing but positive experiences. I've been selling on eBay for over 16 years now (on and off) and have been getting real serious about it for over a year now. I realized a lot of things had changed and sought out people who knew what they were doing and doing it well that I could model after. That's when I found Adam through a Get Motivated conference and recently attended one of his workshops in Portland.

I've been using his template optimizer supreme with all of my eBay listings since and have seen a huge increase in my sales! I wish I had a tool like this when I first started because it makes it so easy and makes my listings look like a rock star. His research software and spy rivals are pretty awesome too and simplifies the research process significantly! When I've needed support from his team, I have also received prompt responses that has answered my questions and have helped me along the way. Thanks Adam! (Financial freedom here I come!)

I feel like those who have left negative comments are not seeing the big picture with what Adam teaches. I had the opportunity of attending one of his seminars not too long ago and learned quite a bit about the eCommerce world. What you have to understand is this is not a get rich quick scheme. This is a business that requires work. And YES you are going to run into a few roadblocks, but you need to problem solve and learn how to make this work. Adam is someone who has done exactly that. People give up way to easy and then blame it on others when they don't succeed. Do what Adam teaches and you will be successful!

I recently attended a workshop with Adam and I was very impressed. I have been in business for a few years and I have done well. I wish I would have had Adam in my corner when I got started! Adam opened my eyes to Amazon and selling through FBA and I have increased my business by 30% as it compares to last year about this same time. I attribute that to the lessons I learned from Adam. I feel that these comments are unfair. I have implemented everything he has taught and after getting past some minor frustrations I can only be grateful for the impact Adam has had on my business.

I have to admit I'm a bit surprised by the comments above. I had a different experience attending one of Adam's seminars than some of the other people on this message board. During the seminar I attended he did a lot of teaching about eBay and Amazon. He showed us how to implement his software tools to save time. I was actually quite interested in the coaching services that he offered because I met one of the coaches at the seminar. The coaches are great and have definitely helped me utilize the software tools better than I could on my own. I've actually kept in contact with a few of the other attendees I met at the seminar and some of us are reporting some real profits. Just like anything else, you need to be willing to put in some time and effort to see results but it's definitely possible.

I had a different experience in 2012. He came to Adelaide with Empowernet and did his 90 minute infomercial. A few went to the back of he room to buy the course at $3997, but most resisted. at the end of the National achievers convention he returned to stage to make another offer. He offered his book for $29.99 to all who wanted it, told us the money raised was going to a charity that he and Richard Branson were assisting, and extended the offer to all buyers that they would receive a credit card sized SD card that snaps out of it and had some preliminary exercises to do before we all came back to do his initial $3997 course for the price of the book..i.e.$29.99. And that is what happened. Over 1000 people came to the event and it was absolutely brilliant. I learned heaps, applied some of what I learned to some ebay listings and had great results. It was the best value course I had ever done. He offered the SAM course there as well but with free access to a basic Auction Optimiser and a subscription to Template optimiser, as well as paying an additional $100 to sit in VIPI thought $129.99 to sit in the front row of the event with a computer in front of me doing the stuff on ebay I was learning for 3 days was the best bargain to a course like this I have ever had.
I am just a bit annoyed now that the Hotsniper site is no longer up and running . Template optimizer and Auction optimizer are stiil up and running fine.

I spent 3k on one of his courses in NZ a few years ago. What a waste of money. He marketed it towards property traders and had no idea on providing any value at all for those people. He's a crook and should be avoided at all costs. One saving grace is I talked two friends out if spending $6k each on going to one of his waste of money courses. Adam Ginsberg obviously doesn't believe in the fact that bad news travels faster than good news or the Karmic Law. He is due for a big fall from grace

Adam Ginsberg is the best salesman in the world! Great ideas, all sounds wonderful, until you pay. A friend and I joined the ebay and click to trade program in November 2013 - $25k! Extra $500 for template optimizer. The only thing that has actually been good is template optimizer - which makes your ebay listings pretty. The rest he hasn't delivered on. Barely any training. Does not turn up to scheduled webinars. Click to trade has never worked. Click to trade is now obsolete for anyone that it hasn't worked for. Has started a new program called IM & M. We actually flew from Australia to Las Vegas to go to the seminar on IM & M. It sounded great. Access supposed to be June 2014. Still nothing. Adam just doesn't show up for webinar training. Now he has launched a new product - tBace. Stay away from him please! Do not spend a cent with him. We're not saying all of his products are bad, but he doesn't deliver on his promises, training or half the programs. No refunds. No replies to emails. Just silence except for advertising the next thing! Oh we also bought the affiliate program for the 'Just Chew It' products for $3k. He can't even get the product into Australia. No refunds. He is an expert salesman. Will happily take all your money and not deliver. He makes us sick!

One thing I can say is that every person who has spoken about doing a Ginsberg course has been let down and he often cancels his workshops. Also I was told that he has been banned from eBay for life. SO I ask you... would you invest in someones course if they were so bad they have been banned from the same website they are saying they are an expert in?

I doubt it...stay away bad news.

Stay away from Adam Ginsberg courses in Australia!!!A

We are mid range ebay sellers, having success (we don't make a fortune...yet!) but we make a full time wage equivalent (both still working though for the time being) from it. Because we had made money from eBay we decided to invest into Adam's "Secrets of an Auction Millionaire" course after seeing him at the National Achievers Conference in Brisbane...what a mistake!!! It cost $3, 997 and with the course a few other things that try to make it appear more value. His book was the best part of everything but can be bought in the shops or online pretty cheap .First the Brisbane course was cancelled due to "Clashes in Adam's Schedule", when we asked for a refund they said "no we don't have to" and they said we would have to do the Sydney or Melbourne course. Due to work and family commitments (and the extra cost of flights and accommodation) we again asked for money back...within 24 hours they announced the Brisbane course was back on, so we were more than happy to go to the new one and of course stayed in. The evening before the course we get an email followed by a call that the flight was cancelled and the course was postponed...again meant to be postponed to a new date...as frustrating as it was, the flight cancellation appeared to be legitimate on the LA flight schedules. However, no more communication and when we asked again they again said "you will need to attend the Sydney or Melbourne" course which were on that week...this is also on top of issues accessing the "extras" sold with the package.

So after pretty much no response (a couple of pass the buck responses) and them refusing to refund us we applied through our bank / visa to claim the goods were not delivered. We submitted all the information and emails to them along with a detailed explanation of what had occurred. The initial judgment is back in our favour and the money is back on our card. If they try to counter the charges and claim they should be made then visa will escalate the investigation further.

Would be very interested to see if any other people have had issues with Adam's 2012 "Secrets of an Auction Millionaire" course and what they did. If anyone is still fighting for their money back, I would suggest that you try what we did if you purchased on card. If you would like more information or are looking for more people to build your case then please just leave your email address, happy to make contact with anyone as we have all the evidence and information to prove they did not provide the service we paid for...or even close (no course at all!).

I have no idea if they do this stuff all the time, if they are legitimate or not. For all I know, the course may have been great (I hope it was for those who were in the Sydney/Melbourne ones) but I do know that what we experienced from someone who is meant to be an ebay expert and teaches people about ebay (where customer feedback is soooo important) that we would not want to see anyone else be ripped off by him or to have to try and deal with the very very poor customer service.

    Regards,
    Allan
