I booked and purchased cancellation insurance for me and my grandchildren, I have a team of 12 families who booked with insurance coverage but tried to cancel the event as described in the terms 48 hours prior to the event. Noone could reach them due to you have to send an email, once my sent email was responded to 5 days later it was still 2 days prior but neither of our 12 families whom purchased 38 tickets have yet to receive a email or refund. We' are are currently filing BBB complaints but seen this here so wanted to give this a try. Please assist us with this unjustice.

Active.Com is one of the more frequently used online payment processing options for sporting event registration - fun runs, triathlons, etc. Two years in a row, one of my event registrations has automatically signed me up for a Plus membership ($59.95 / year) which I did NOT agree to. Last year I called and reported this, was assured by phone support that the charge would be reversed. It was not - so I stopped paymen through my credit card company. This year - SAME thing - I see a charge from them that I HAVE NOT authorized show up on my credit card statement.
This company has created a deceptive opt out user interface that - based on the number of complaints I see on their own user online user community - has caused hundreds of complaints from unwitting consumers who simply want to sign up for a $20 fun run. If they were not the only registration option - I would never use them. Deceptive at best, fradulent at worst.
