Ace Rents A Car Tampa, FL review: Car rental

Rented from Ace in Tampa. Return vehicle on the same condition, vehicle checked out with no issues, received a receipt, fully paid, no damage mentioned. A week later received a claim for $1500 stating damage to rear bumper. Falsified accident report with a note in bad English saying I refused to sign it. Hand written time stamp is after I left the facility after receiving my receipt. Estimate was enclosed and apparently done by an appraiser from Miami area without physically inspecting the car and based on the pictures supplied by Ace. Pictures are not only not date stamped or geolocated, but cannot be tied to the car I rented let alone the “damage” itself.

Ace is a known scammer, internet is full of similar examples. Avoid.
