Zombieville USA 2 Not sure if I like the direction there going

Great game. love the "skins for the character and weapon select but I really don't like the controls. The fact there arnt alternate controls is a huge drawback. Another thing I don't like is not looting houses. I know that's not going to get changed but I'm just saying, if you get in a tight spot in this game you can't hide out for a few seconds. Later I would LOVE to see a "classic" mode with similar mechanics to the first one in the sense that you go through rounds of zombie landscape with the store of zvusa2 between each round. I remember competing with friends on long bus rides or while camping on how far each one of us could get. With this i don't get that feeling of accomplishment. Last I get frustrated with this game. I can't remember ever getting frustrated with the first one. I don't know how you could fix that or if you could but I guess if you didn't have rounds like the old one, difficulty settings would be good. I am confident that there will be a huge amount of post-launch support for this game just like the last so I'm not completely worried about the control options. Thanks for reading and keep up the excellent work- Taylor

Zombieville USA 2 great fun!

Great game. I love games where you collect money and work on upgrades. It would be nice if each character had special strengths or weaknesses added into the game play. Lots of fun and great action in using and upgrading weapons and abilities throughout.

negatives.~ as another reviewer mentioned, the tesla weapon is the most expensive weapon but I rarely use it because it's slow and doesn't seem as effective as others. You play and play looking forward to it's abilities and it's quite a let down. Another thing is, i found some of the weapons to be repetitive in nature and not really worth using. I've almost got to the point in the game where i've maxed out on all weapons upgrades and abilities and i find myself using the same 4 or 5 weapons and abilities.

Suggestions~create different types of new weapons. there seems to be several variations of automatic, handguns, and shotguns. It might also be nice if you could purchase either through money earned in the game or real money and allow extra abilities and weapons to be added to the characters during gameplay. This may also help differentiate advanced players and regular players in the co-op mode!

great game and what an awesome price.

Zombieville USA 2 Great game :D

this game is like one of my top favs...it awesome especially with the new update being able 2 get more money and stuff...but i'll have to admit it will get boring eventually because lets say it to easy for you or it got to hard or you have everything in the game and fully upgraded etc...so i suggest of just having those ten levels or mission or whatever you call them you add new modes like arena meaning how long could you last in one spot in one life before you die (like it could be done in waves)...also it'll be nice if you add a story line (like i know the bottom story line is your like a survivor living in the zombie acoplypse or something like that and your just trying to survive) like your that redneck that appears in the menu of the game and your wondering around usa and come across the other characters and team up and each character have like different guns to themselves and so do you...another thing for like online play(it could also be offline but wont be as fun) if theres like a dual mode where you and like another person (maybe more) are in one big area and are fighting each other to the death and at the same time your getting attacked by zombies...THESE ARE JUST SOME THOUGHTS TO IMPROVE THIS VERY AWESOME GAME!

Zombieville USA 2 Just get it. another Mika Mobile Masterpiece

The thing about zombie games that they must do, and do well, is get that satisfying feel of capping a zombie, preferably with gore-a'flying. Zombieville USA 2 does this with a surprising flair, while somehow making the whole affair seem like clean, bloodless fun, a game your 5 year old could play and wouldn't wake up screaming that night. Mika Mobile shows a talent and polish that make gaming on the iPhone and iPad a joy, and makes so many other games look just either complicated for no good reason, or downright just boring. Mika Mobile is about immediate and satisfying fun on the go, or if you feel like spending a couple hours sitting down. ZU2 excels at this, equally on par with OMG! Pirates! The variety of levels is good, and quite challenging. The characters seem to function more or less the same though descriptions make you wonder if they might be a bit different, but the range is good so you can find an avatar you are comfortable running for a period of time, and also functions as a profile of equipment which is nice.

If I have one suggestion, it would be to have alternate routes through the towns, say with drop downs to tunnels, or climb to higher levels, like a roof. Outside of this, there really is nothing I would change - just good solid gaming all the way around.

Zombieville USA 2 Too complicated - Hate the timer

Hate the timer, hate the 3D, really hate the timer, too complex, and I can't find enough words to tell you how much I hate the timer.

Zombieville Prime is a great game. it's simple, it's satisfying, it's not too demanding.

Zombieville 2 is a bad game. It's got this stupid timer that limits how much time you have to run around killing zombies. it adds a whole new level of stress that completely destroys the relaxing go-at-your-own-pace feel of the original game. This new game now adds a complexing new third dimension so not only do you have to face the right direction to kill zombies, you have to be on the exact same vertical level to hit them. If you're a fraction of an inch off then you can't hit them, but they can kill you. Furthermore, the tiny little control circle is so small that most of the time your thumb will slide off and your character will just stand there getting killed.

Somebody needs to tell these game developers that you should only add complexity when it makes a better game, not adding complexity just for complexity's sake. I played the original game since the first day it came out and still play it today. I can't play this game. Even though it's only 99¢ I feel like demanding my money back.

Don't buy this game, buy the original, you'll have a lot more fun and a lot less stress.

Zombieville USA 2 Absolute Best Game EVER!

UPDATE: Absolutely awesome! Devs have listened to all the issues with the game and have fixed every single one! Hat tip to you guys!

This is my absolute favorite game and one that is impossible to put down! Highly recommend it to everyone!

OLD: I agree with other reviewers in that this is an amazingly fun game, but the joystick control is terrible!

You guys need to increase the circle area that you are able to use the joystick in! I find myself constantly trying to move my character only to see that he is not moving and getting demolished by the zombies because I am a mm off of the circle! What would be perfect is if you guys just INCREASED the size off the joystick! That way this problem wouldn't exist.

I opened up the app today after progressing to the fourth level and upgrading all my weapons, only to see that ALL my progress has been lost! UGH! PLEASE fix this issue! It's extremely annoying and makes me not want to play the game at all! I'm guessing that it is more than likely an iCloud staving issue, please fix!

Otherwise besides the bad joystick, and kissing all my progress (which are very major issues!), this game is awesome and hugely addicting! Definitely quite hard but fun none the less!

Please fix the joystick and the game save problems and this will no doubt be a five star game!

Zombieville USA 2 Good

Needs some more i lost interest when i upgraded the sniper all the way

I've upgraded all most everything except flashbangs. Sniper and minigun are all you need. Tesla isnt good without flashbangs or cyrogun

Here are all the upgrades:
Pistols - Dual weild Pistols
Uzi - Dual weild Uzi's
Grenade - Same (more damge detonate quicker)
Bat - Sledge hammer (huge knockback)
Fire Axe - Kantana (Samurai sword)
Med Kit - Deluxe med-kit (gives ammo)
Shotgun - Spas 12 (decent damge little knockback)
Slug Shotgun - Scoped Slug Rifle (Good damage good knockback)
Flashbangs- ? Not there yet
Assault Rifle - Scoped Assault rifle with cammo and grip (good long range not short)
Sniper - .50 cal sniper (Best gun in the game in my opinion. If u hav dead eye the big zombies are a 1 shot kill, readys shot really quick)
Land mine - ? Not there yet
Chainsaw - (same) Chainsaw (fair nockback, good damage and ammo)
Cyro Gun - same thing bigger effect radius and 40 ammo
Mini gun - same thing Good for long range and cqb (Amazing 250 ammo never seems to run out)
Flamethrower - Same thing does little damage even with pyromaniac
Magnum - Gets iron sights and a clip no revolver stuff (good knockback and damage, better off with .50 cal)
RPG- same thing 2 shot kill for big zombies. Shot can go long range
Tesla Gun - Same thing (still doesn't ready shot as quick as i'd like it to)

Zombieville USA 2 BUY THIS GAME

I got into zombieville usa when it was still just a shot gun and an uzi now its become an iphone must-have with all the unpgrades and whatnot, i find that ZV2 is better than one...but when i say that at the same time it could be alot better. If you put some of the mechanics from ZV1 in ZV2 the game would be perfect such as character perks, simple additions would make the game a little more visceral but aside from a couple needs-to-haves kinda stuff this game is well worth the price and btw everyone having problems with the controls just make sure you keep your thumb in the designated area and youll be fine oh as for the people having troubles earning money i agree that it could be a tad better BUT if you get daddy warbucks it helps, oh and remember when you deploy keep in mind its quantity over quality you can get 5000 points but only 30 kills and youll get like 200 bucks dont spend to much time in one spot keep running and take out whatevers in your way distance is a big factor in the amount of money you gain. What i do is i have the uzi the assault rifle and the health kits run the course as far as you can than within the last say 30 to 20 seconds stay in one spot and start unloading (if you have enough ammo of course) within that little amount of time youll probably gain at least 10-20 kills making the your kill count for that run good as well as your distance. Anyways hopefully that helps and for those who dont have this game GET IT NOW haha great time waster :D

Zombieville USA 2 5of 5 OBVIOUSLY

This game is truly addicting. I've had it for awhile, and It's truly one of the most addicting apps I've set my eyes on. If you like Angry Birds, Tiny Wings, Plants vs. Zombies, or multiple other addicting apps for the iPod touch/iPhone, this is truly for you. Gameplay is amazing, easy on the eyes, and like I said before... ADDICTING! Here's a rundown on why I like the app so much. (the last part is why I graded it what I graded it)
Graphics: 10/10: simple, but very pleasurealbe!
Single Player: 9/10: great for anybody's ability, but once you get to the last level, it's hard to continue having fun.
Co-op: 7/10: NEEDS WORK... Why: Multiple disconnections, the voice chat option isn't yet to it's full potential. I think that voice chat could be so much better... As in telling your partner that you have full/empty ammo/health.
Wepons: 8/10: When I first started the game, the Tesla was the most expensive, and you had to charge while standing STILL! this is near impossible when you're on the last level. (I havent been able to get the tesla again yet because I got a new iPod) But, otherwise the weponds are fantastic
Charactors: 10/10: It's always good to see a grandma or santa with a rocket launcher!
Addiction: 11/10: This game is off the charts in this aspect... LITURALLY
Game Center:7/10: Not eneough badges, some are very simple to get.
Bang for the Buck: 10/10: Completely worth the $.99! (Thats how much I got it for!) This game provides HOURS (or days for me) of FUN!
In all, 90%. I hope this helps you guys. (P.S. Mika, please correct the multiplayer parts and other parts I talked about)

Zombieville USA 2 Fun but very flawed game

Firstly let me start by saying I loved the first zombieville. But just because one game is good doesn't mean they can't screw up a sequel. Luckily they didn't, for the most part. Most of the same weapons that were in the first game are still here with some new ones added in. These work alright (except the fire axe, DON'T BUY THE FIRE AXE) but what I thought was disappointing was you cannot upgrade them visually. You can add perks to it to make it better but they don't start to look cooler like in the original. Speaking of perks, perks in this game aren't specific to any character (which you now have to buy both of, perks and characters) but rather you buy three perks of your choosing then pay to upgrade them. The most aggravating part of this game is the insane difficulty compared to the first one. When you get past the first mission you will start dieing a lot. And the only way to avoid death is to run really fast or buy upgrades which are WAY WAY WAY overly expensive. It's like they expect you to sink 50 hours into this game. One last negative thing is you cannot go into houses for ammo or allies. So if your getting hurt and you need to get away, well your out of luck. On the plus side though this game is fun with more zombie variety than in the last game. You no longer walk on a two dimensional sidewalk but in the 3D street meaning you can juke zombies at times. There are other things that also make me angry like only holding 3 weapons at a time and that there's no co op on 2ed generation itouches. But other than what I've listed above and the cheap priceing. It's a fun game and I would recommend.

Zombieville USA 2 Fun game

An entertaining, albeit mediocre, game.

You load up on guns and special abilities then go out and kill as many zombies as you can before the timer runs out. The gameplay itself is fun enough for a while. Each level seems to add a new zombie which adds to the difficulty and changes the strategy a bit. Some zombies are very slow and harmless unless you're not paying attention, while others are very fast or explode when they get too close and do big damage.

The guns seem fairly varied - they have different fire speeds, do different damage at different ranges, have various powers like slowing down a group of zombies. The powers also are varied from gaining more money on each level, to moving faster, to being better at using certain weapons.

The game boils down to running a level until you've gotten enough money to buy new weapons/powers and/or upgrade them so that you can beat the next level.

The controls I've found to respond well, but I'm not a fan of virtual keypads. Too often your finger slides away from it and you stop moving. I've also found the weapon switch/fire buttons too close together which result in you switching weapons when you intended to fire your current one. This can become a big problem if you're using a close quarters, high powered weapon - you may be waiting on a larger group to take out, but switch to your sniper rifle instead of firing and end up being swarmed.

The level backgrounds are varied, but the levels are not - it's still just running straight through a level killing as many zombies as you can, the background and zombies just change.

Overall, it's an entertaining game that should last a week or so.

Zombieville USA 2 The best zombie game EVER

Ok let's get one thing out of the way first, this game is gorgeous, the graphics are way better than the first one and even "omg pirates". Their are way more weapons and I mean WAY more weapons like flash bangs, grenades, med-kits and other stuff like that. Also characters don't have their special abilities anymore, instead you get to pick and choose which ones you would like your character to have. Speaking of characters there are way, way more character than the first one. There are a bunch of new ones with the return of some old favorites. Though there is plenty of new content, there is some stuff thats lacking. For instance you can't hop into houses or ride in cars anymore. It's also missing some characters that you would expect from a zombieville game like marine, navy, army and airforce solider, but I think thats just thing that's my opinion. Id like to see those character and others like a cowboy or maybe some characters like from their new game battleheart. A minigame would me nice to like riding in the helicopter while mowing down zombies below. Maybe some new weapons like a poison grenade where it damages zombies and slows the down, and a new type of shotgun like a one-shot kill that kills them instantly but takes Time to set up, kinda like the sniper. Also I'd like to be able to change the look of my guns, for instance, when you fully upgrade your shotgun, it changes in to a spas-12. It's cool but I like the look of the old shotgun better. I'd like to be able to have it fully upgraded but with the look of the old shotgun. But hey it's your guys's game do what you want with. It and I'm behind you guys through the whole thing. And good luck =^.^=

Zombieville USA 2 Ideas

I’ve been playing this game since the 4th grade, in 25 days I graduate high school... so I’m definitely dedicated to the game i enjoy the amount of possibilities with the guns, perks, characters. You can upgrade the guns, you can choose the loadout, upgrade your perks as well. My favorite part of the game is when you max out a gun the skin changes. I LOVE that! Maybe make different skins to chose from. It gives you something to look forward to when saving up. But I wish their was more assault rifles. Their could be an Ak47 or an SKS Incase you don’t like the one sniper rifle they have. Their could be more sub machine guns their could be more light machine guns instead of the one mini gun. Their could be another pistol instead of the magnum and the first gun. Their could be add-ons to each gun such as bigger mags, scopes, grips ext. Just open up the possibility’s, maybe make each character have his/her own perk based on the character itself. And have a 30 second timer and once it’s charged you can use your ability. For instance the prisoner could have increased melee damage or maybe make a perk that lets you have a 4th gun in your load out. Or make a perk that increases fire rate or a perk that makes your cars life last longer. I understand funding would be the main concern for making these changes possible but it’s a thought. I love the cars that’s a nice twist but they always blow up as the worst times. Maybe make it so you can save up and buy the car of your choice, and then upgrade the speed and duration of the vehicle. Just add the car on to the load out screen and that will be another way to customize your loadout. I hope this helps, keep an open mind to the possibilities

Zombieville USA 2 The Original iOS Shooter Returns Elite

9.5/10

mikamobile has always been fantastic pocket gaming developer (alongside of Gameloft), but with such a small amount of games released, it is hard to fully enjoy their work for a long period of time without craving for more soon after.
As we all know, Zombieville was the game that really bridged the gap between shooters and iOS platforms, as it released with a bang and climbed to the top, thus creating an era of apps named solely after Zombieville. Mikamobile followed up with Battleheart and OMG! Pirates! which were both successful, but fell short of Zombieville's glory among the app store. This classic app was followed by you-know-what by Rovio, and Tiny Wings by Andreas Illiger, and since then the two have stood where Zombieville once had. Kings that defined an era of apps. Until this...
Zombieville 2 has reclaimed the throne of apps, already reaching number one in the app store and projected to remain there for another era of apps, but what makes Zombieville so great?
First off, the story: you can interpret it any way you like, whether the survivor is trying to escape or just trying to cleanse the city, you become him, immersed in Zombieville blowing away the undead with another pro of this game: the armory. The plethora of Perks and weapons is so daunting that much zombie blood shall be shed in order to attain it all, thus creating endless hours upon hours of gameplay.
After thoroughly observing and playing this game, only one con comes to mind: when you get cornered by the zombies and start getting munched, your weapons lose effectiveness and your speed is decreased dramatically, making it difficult to escape the swarm, when doing so should not be impossible, but challenging. With that one exception, I along with many fail to find a problem with this epic app. It is in shorter terms, a masterpiece at your fingertips for .99 cents.

Zombieville USA 2 Wow

How long has this game been out, 3 years? It's still on the top charts you say? Wow, that's crazy!
But seriously, this game is definitely worth paying 99¢ for. I got this game thinking it would be ok to try because me being me, I try to spend all my iTunes money in one day. So I figured I'd give it a shot. Well, I'm definitely glad I did! Since I have got the game, which was around the beginning of July, Its always been very entertaining for me . I don't mind taking 10 minutes of my day to sit down, relax, and have a game.

For the people who don't know how the game works, I'll tell you. Your main goal for the game is to kill zombies. You have a series of levels categorized by "infection level." In other words, the number of zombies on that level. How would you kill those zombies? GUNS, GUNS, AND MORE GUNS! Yup, you get to blast zombies with an awesome weapon. Weapons can be upgraded.
Then there's skills. Skills can be very beneficial. They give you an advantage when playing. For example, "Radioactive" this is a skill that allows your character to gradually earn health at a specific rate. There are many other skills to choose from. Skills can also be upgraded.
CHARACTERS! You can't have a game without characters! Thankfully, Zombieville USA 2 obeys that rule and allows you to choose from a large variety of characters. Don't worry, there are boy AND girl characters. This isn't just a boys game. You would definitely love the creative characters! Pick your favorite!
You can also play this game with your friends, co-op. Show off you're cool guns and characters! Co-op is definitely one of my favorite features in this game. Trust me, you'd love it
Once you get used to the set up, you'll have a blast completing the higher levels of zombies.

So, yeah it's a lot, but I still can't describe to you guys enough how much I love, and how much I know you guys will love this game! JUST GET IT!

Zombieville USA 2 a REAL review

Okay, let me start off by saying I LOVE this company.I have ALL of their games, and my favorite by far is Battleheart & the first Zombieville. So you can imagine how my high my expectations for this game was when i first heard of it.But sadly, this game doesnt live up to those expectations.

First off, you make money wayyy too slow. in the first one it was completly balanced, you could make money at a decent rate and you could buy what you wanted if you worked for it.in this one, i feel like im working my butt off in a level just to make 60$. and spending
a long time with the same guns just to get one new gun is NOT FUN. it gets very repetetive.

second, the characters..WHAT HAPPENED.this was probably my biggest dissapointment,in the last one, each character had their unique attributes, like the clown got extra money, john gore found ammo, the ninja had strong melee, etc.and now, nothing. They're ALL the same.unless you buy them their perks. which is VERY hard to get,due to the poor money system, since it costs 1,000$ per perk.

But.i don't completly hate this game. i mean,i give you guys credit for improving some of the features.the controls are nice,i like how you now have a seperate button for each gun, instead of having one button to swap through all your guns, which can be hard when you have like a million zombies right in front of you and you're trying to find the right weapon to kill them.

okay, about the joystick ish thing that everyones complaining about, its okay. i would prefer arrows for each direction instead though, like down,up,left, right. sometimes i find myself running and then i stop moving cuz my finger went off the thing since im moving my finger around too much.

all in all, this game is okay. i would MUCH rather reccomend buying the first zombieville. if you loved the first one,you probably won't like this one as much. if you're new to the zombieville series..then i still say buy the first one.

Zombieville USA 2 Let me sum it up

Frankly, I don't understand all of the hate surrounding this game. Albeit, I will admit that the game has been altered greatly from its previous installment. These alterations show that a great amount of thought and time was put into its development. But for those of you who are still skeptical, let me sum up some of the new features in Zombieville USA 2.

-Money gathering has been made more time consuming: Though annoying at first, you'll soon learn that this is a gateway to many different strategies for earning money.
-Many more things to buy: More guns, characters, and perks! As stated above, it will be hard to earn enough money right away to get what you want. The key is DON'T RUSH YOURSELF! Good things come with patience. The whole earning-then-buying experience is a deep and rewarding one.
-You can survive: As I'm sure you've noticed, a timer was added at the top of the screen. This is the amount of time remaining before a rescue helicopter arrives. Once it is there, you can hop on and fly to safety. BUT it is still possible to die before jumping on so be cautious.
-New levels: Let's face it, the standard suburban background of the first game got repetitive after 45 or so rounds. Now there are many new backdrops, locales, and difficulties.
-Co-op: Online co-op is now supported, fight zombies with your friends!
-Loadouts: When I say "Loadout" I don't mean the typical COD "Loadout." I mean that you can assign three different (upgradeable) weapons to three different buttons on screen. AND you can equip upgradeable perks. These range from faster movement to being able to hold more ammo.
-Touch screen Analog stick: It is now possible to move up and down the environment! This is a new and immersive addition to the game, you can now avoid zombies if you're out of ammo! Congrats, you are no longer doomed when you hear the click of an empty gun!

I'm sure that I missed some things, but if this should be enough to get you to buy this amazing game! Well worth the price!

Zombieville USA 2 Very glitched game now

It is impossible to achieve everything you want by playing solo, it is much more worth the time to instead play co op, which brings on an issue. Once you know you are "pro" at the game and you co-op with random people, you never know if they are noobs or not and you end up picking a map where they die and ragequit, or you are forced to pick a bad map which gives you little money. You could've have sacrificed the time and money spent with voicechat to replace it with other nessecary things, which is laughable as voicechat doesn't even work half the time.

A NEEDED update is letting us see what our partner has such as skills and weapons, because I don't want to have my BFF skill up when I am playing with someone without it, and let us host games so we get people we want to play with.

I'm also dissapointed that choosing characters don't come with special abilities. If you guys added special abilities for characters like the first game, then this game will be a four star game. I guessed they didn't do that so people would buy the first (which isn't that great), and then get dissapointed a little in the second. Good marketing ploy if you ask me.

You need much more levels and more monsters. There are nine levels, and the first 5 only provide the last new monster. You could've at least added a new zombie after that, and the game is glitched terribly after that.

A huge fuss in this game is when you play co-op, it is almost all of the game you are stuck fighting zombies in the same small area with a partner, without advancing at all since the stupid old and gray zombies love to randomly pop out at you. You basically run out of ammo constantly since you are forced to deal with the huge amount of zombies in the last level halting your advancement. Not only is that an issue, but you are forced to use Berserker, Katana, and Cyro gun or otherwise you will die in seconds. See how flawed this game is? Never liked the creators.

And finally comes the point where I get reset randomly of random stats, as well as my sister's iPod, and it just ruins everything. I delete it, getting rid of it in gamecenter, and reset my iPod/iPhone and shut it down in background and my character is never in a new game, which is better than just back to a random reset of random stats, and now I just delete it hoping to never deal with it again. You people really screwed up this time.

Zombieville USA 2 It's really only meh but still good

i will start with my constructive criticism first since thats always what developers can actually do something with.

First, i would recommend that since many people complain about the controls for movement, the developer add an additional control scheme similar to that in OMG! Pirates! this way if your finger slips off of the control itself it won't make you stop.

However, the movement control is not all that terrible as some people make it out to be. it is quite simple to get used to and adds a great new dimensional difficulty to the game. having to compensate for zombies on different parallels makes this game much more intense. i very much appreciate this since in my opinion zombieville USA was a tad bit simple.

Second, many people complain about the timer and so maybe the developer ought to consider adding a mode of play where there is no timer and in place of where the timer is add a "Chopper Call" button so that they can end the level when they wish.

I think the timer makes a good addition to the game since it makes you need to work against the clock to gain the most money possible in the allotted time. and if you complain about the time, please note: you DO NOT have to board the chopper immediately after the timer runs out, instead spend the last, maybe 30 seconds or so, emptying your ammo into the zombie hordes. THEN, once your ammo is gone, you can board the chopper and move on to spend the money you've earned to purchase new weapons or skills, or even upgrade them.

Third, and this is only a tip really, but if you do not like the slow pace of money gain, i would highly recommend saving all your money for the "Daddy Warbucks" skill so that your money gain gets a bonus added to it every time you pick up cash. the slow money gain in the game is not bad at all, it adds a need for you to know where you want to put your money towards when you do purchase items.

I absolutely LOVE the multiplayer mode. it is an amazing addition to the game and i play whenever i get the chance whether it is with my game center friends or via the bluetooth capability or when my friends aren't available, via the game center auto match.

Overall, this is truly an amazing game, with challenges worthy of any gamer, whether you are the classic character with the classic pistol and shotgun, or any of the other characters, GET THIS GAME! And have fun! because thats what games are for! :D

Zombieville USA 2 Disappointed

I thought this game was going to be outstanding because of how addicting the first one was... I thought the $2.99 was perfect pricing for how good the first one was. Thank god the second one is only a dollar because I don't Like how the D-pad is and how you can't enter houses and you are timed and most of all the way you move. I liked the straight shot in the first one but you are able to move everywhere in this. Too much to do in such a small space with hundreds of Zombies on the screen!

Zombieville USA 2 Can't play now

It's quite ridiculous now. I have had this app for a while and there have been no updates! It's not that hard to add in a couple new guns and maps. Mabey even a survival mode but no. This company had been lazy and made nothing for this game. Come on now! There are other company's that have made multiple add ons for multiple games in a short amount of time but it takes Mika Mobile forever to make even one add on. I have yet to see any add on features. I hate to be a troll but its true. Overall good game. But no add ons yet. >:(

Zombieville USA 2 Could Be Good - But Is Not

With some big updates, this could be so much more fun. The graphics are good and the ability to buy and upgrade items makes it addicting. BUT - there is absolutely no goal to this game. You don't have to beat the levels to gain money. Once you buy everything, there is no longer any purpose to the game whatsoever. And there are not very many types of enemies or variations in levels. It gets boring very quickly. I think it's worth .99 if you just feeling like wasting time. Hopefully a major update will occur - because this game has great potential.

Zombieville USA 2 Honestly needs an overhaul

This game is good with adding the 3d, but the controls aren't there yet. Instead of a arrow thing maybe more like a thumb stick where even if you go off the edge you still move that way.. Simple.. Other major thing is the money system, you get paid nothing at all even if you pick up all the bonuses in the level. The cost of Upgrades compared to new guns is insane. Have characters that give you different bonuses, unless they already do and it's just not stated what those bonuses are. Stick with the original Zombieville... At least until this gets a HUGE update. Thanks for reading!

Zombieville USA 2 App No longer Runs on iOS 4.2.1

I bought this game in December , And I absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, due to a rather humorous incident involving me no longer owning the computer that this iPod original synced to and accidentally setting up a password in my sleep (Don't ask), I had to factory reset my iPod. When I went to re-download this from the AppStore, it had updated and now required iOS 4.3... Please make a way for people with iOS 4.2.1 to download the previous version of this game (v1.2) (And only be able to play Co-op with 4.2.1 users), I really like it, and I'm mad that I can no longer use an App I purchased.

Not for kids. My 9 year old asked for this game, and the logo looked like a cute, cartoony zombie. I was expecting a game like plants vs zombies, but Zombieville is bloody and graphic (although in a cartoony way). The avatar shoots zombies in the head and it shows the head exploding, blood splattering and chunks of brain material. The zombies' bodies falls to the ground with the stump of a spinal cord protruding. The weapons are realistic in design and coloring, ranging from pistols and shotguns to machine guns and light artillery. In all fairness, my children (9 and 12) love the game, but I regret my purchase.

Zombieville USA 2 Pretty good

I mean, it's a pretty good game, the graphics are awesome, there are more characters, but why can't you go in the houses? That was almost the coolest thing for me in the first zombieville. Also in the first one, you would stay on the sidewalk so it would be easier to fight and kill. In Zombieville 2, you'd have to go at the exact same place the zombie would be, which is kind of frustrating.

Another thing I didn't like is that you are timed. Seriously? I liked it better when you were relaxed, and just having fun killing zombies. This is a lot harder to kill a zombie also. It takes, like, 5-10 bullets to kill 1 zombie.

Zombieville USA 2 AGAIN???

So I finally decided to come around and try to painfully claw my way back to all of the upgraded guns and buy all the characters again after I got reset...
I go to play during some free time in class...
And my stuff has been reset... AGAIN.
Like last time; my scores and achievements are still fine, but I'm reduced to the very beginning of the game with the basic load out and character...
COME ON!
How can I play this great and enjoyable game if I keep getting reset?

Original post:
Never thought it would happen to me! My data has been reset! My profile still has the achievements unlocked and everything! Not cool... Anything you (mika mobile) or I can do?

Zombieville USA 2 What a disappointment

When I saw this app I purchased it immediately because of the outstanding design of the original; what a horrible, disappointing change. The timer reduces the enjoyment of the game to zero; earning money on a level is impossible now and upgrades are near impossible to earn as you can't "hang out" on a level to earn money. Too many 10-year-olds leaving reviews because they can shoot guns… this app doesn't deserve a rating anywhere near what it has attained. All I can hope is that Mika Mobile reads these reviews and gives their customers (who pay their bills, by the way) what they want… a game that rivals, if not surpasses, their original effort. Clean up thois garbage Mika or lose the loyal customer base that has been waiting for your next big release.

Zombieville USA 2 No Bluetooth Co-op

Fairly disappointed in the apps co-op capability, my best friend and I were on a long car ride and he told me how great the app was for multiplayer and we would probably play for hours together in the car. So he finally convinced me to actually "buy" the app, not just download. So we both were ready and I'll admit the game is very fun for the variety of weapons and perks. I was just let down at the fact that no matter how many times we tried to connect right next to each other in the car, the app always crashes. So unfortunately, my review is negative for the fact of the matter that the entire ride there and back we couldn't play together. Sorry developers I can tell it would have been a great experience but I think this needs to be looked into and updated.

Zombieville USA 2 :(

It's not the greatest game and definitely not on par with battleheart, but it's an improvement from the first. You get only a few levels to actually play and the in game money system seems slightly broken as perfection matters so low money on high levels and high money on low levels for a bad medium created. The most disappointing factor is that the devs couldn't create co-op for 2nd gen and some 3rd gen devices so about all of the hype of the actual game was cut out for me from the announcement. It is worth 99 cents if you like a mindless shooter with little replay value except to upgrade weapons, but co-op seems to help it along a lot. Without co-op the game fizzles out and looks like a pile of trash with levels mostly containing the same zombies but with more health and more of them.

Zombieville USA 2 If I wanted to grind I'd get back to work

Why does your character have to move like a freakin' slug? It's kinda boring. Even the fact that there is no character animation reacting to being attacked is fitting: I too welcome death when playing this game.

Levelling up is a real chore. Perhaps some variety while advancing through the game? But no: your progress is artificially gated by kill quotas before you can even access any new level. That's a very unwelcome feeling. You finished a level, you should get to move onto something new. Instead you repeat through the same level killing the same enemies a dozen times over.

Why didn't this little 'feature' make it into the app description?

• Grind the same levels over and over!

Because it's a ridiculous cheap shot way to extend a game that's why.

What a disappointment compared to OMG! Pirates

Zombieville USA 2 Meh.It could be better

Love the look and the numerous weapons and characters. Not that I can get any of them. What the crap? Why is picking up money important if you can't spend it? The only way to get money is at the end of a round and then it is a small amount? Not impressed!

The controls are terrible! The movement controller is hit or miss and very difficult to use. The weapon buttons are too close together and cause you to switch weapons too easily and unintentionally.

This game has potential but needs a lot of work. The first game had the problems with money and no ability to buy ammo and was fixed. It also got multiple control options. Fix these issues and the others (problems) that others have talked about and I'll add more stars.

As stated by others, not bad for $.99. Still waiting for a mini Rambo-ish character.

Zombieville USA 2 Great game. Until all of your data gets erased

I really thought that this game was great i loved everything about it! But then when i was able to update my ipod to ios 5 i tried playing again only to find out that it had deleted all of my progress. I said to myself ok well it probably just had something to do withthe update so ill just keep playing. I was doing great! I had made even more progress than before i had all my perks and guns fully upgraded! Then i come home from practice, open the app and start up solo mode when i see that absolutely none of the stuff i had unlocked or bought were still there. Im so mad because this is such a great game but i dont want to have to restart everything again. I didnt give this game a 5 star rating because of that major bug but i also didnt give it a 1 star rating because it is truly a great game.

So please fix this bug!

Zombieville USA 2 Mix of emotions

The problem with any sequel is if you stray from the original formula you make some people mad, if you DON'T then why have any sequel at all? This tries some great new concepts but buries it in frustrating controls, slow money gain and a horrible bullet to zombie death ratio. Even with three guns i run out of ammo on the higher stages and the extreamly low money gain (even with Daddy Warbucks active and upgraded) i am forced to replay the same 2-4 star levels since i cant get enough ammo to kill higher stages. The "powers" addition is really cool and a welcome addition. As is the huge cast of characters, dont know if they have different abilities like the first game, doubtful since you can buy powers and tailor your avatar). If Mika reads some of these and takes some of the criticism to heart and patches some of this, it will be a gem of a game.

Zombieville USA 2 Co-op

Crashes frequently during Game Center multi-player on iPhone 4. Very frustrating. Please fix!

Also, if you get a text or other popup alert during co-op, it automatically disconnects you, even if you dismiss it. Keep the connection alive when the app moves to the background for a few seconds to give the player time to dismiss the popup.

There is a frequent bug when playing co-op after the helicopter comes that causes the entire screen to shake if you move over to the right part of the screen.

Please add ability to see other player's health and ammo. Also ability to see what character the other player is going to use before starting to prevent using identical characters.

Finally, please add boss battles, because levels get repetitive. Maybe add some levels that scroll vertically instead of or in addition to just scrolling horizontally for more variety.

Zombieville USA 2 An excellent game full of bugs and glitches

This is an incredibly fun game to play, but it constantly crashes, glitches out, and drops connections. The problems I have experienced:

1. The game randomly quits while playing, a lot. It just seemingly crashes for no reason.

2. Connections over game center and Bluetooth both just randomly drop. I can be sitting right next to someone using Bluetooth and the game constantly loses its connection. The same thing happens playing via game center. We have a 25mbit Internet connection, it's not a bandwidth problem.

3. Sometimes the game glitches out on us, it's like it's spasming, the image very quickly flickering back and forth on the screen.

4. It's not possible to select who the host is. We have to disconnect and reconnect several times ( as many as ten or more times) to get a specific person to choose the level (that way a higher level person can bring a friend ahead).

It's a fantastic game otherwise. If they fix these problems I'll gladly bump it up to five stars.

Zombieville USA 2 Actual review

Excellent game! They got everything right. NO IAP! That's my favorite part! Only problem is that I play so much I have everything maxed out. Ha! I need some new levels, weapons or skills. Please don't change much in part 3.

I'm all about games on my phone; this is easily in the top three. I don't dole out five star reviews haphazardly. Seriously, great game.
We're ready for ZV3!

Update - 09/04 - very buggy update. The cement truck worked once. Lots of double timin in co-op mode. The game was perfect before. Love the endless mode. But just too many bugs. Not worth it. Please fix and I'll return this to the (very deserving) 5 star it had previously.

Also. It lost my save state... So now I have to start over. iCloud does NOTHING! Does not work! Emailed support and got NO help. Pretty much a "whelp?"

Update 05/21 - new iPad mini. Guess what! iCloud still does nothing! Hours of playing on my phone for nothing. iCloud support should be removed from this game's description. Tried everything. 1of5 do not buy
