You Got It Doods is a dog breeder that posted fake 5 star reviews in order to promote their dog breeding business. Posting fake reviews or testimonials online is a federal crime, under the FTC Act.

The 2 fake reviews were both posted on March 26, 2021, under the names "Hannah" and "Glen" on a puppy ad website called puppyfind.com. "Hannah" and "Glen" were posing as the purchasers of 2 puppies from You Got It Doods. At that time, You Got It Doods had only ever sold 2 puppies, named Alani and Alia. In fact, neither of those puppies were sold to a "Hannah" or a "Glen". The actual purchasers of those puppies were John N. and Jerry B., and neither of them posted reviews on puppyfind.com. The reviews are totally fabricated.

This all started when I was looking at buying two puppies from You Got It Doods, at a cost of $4, 500 apiece. I was suspicious because there was so little information available about the breeder online. I asked the owner Sierra to provide me with some references. Sierra wrote that they were a new breeder and had only only 1 litter of 4 puppies, two which they sold and two they kept for breeding. I asked Sierra to put me in contact with the two buyers. She wrote that she contacted the two buyers and they would not speak to me, but they had both posted reviews on puppyfind.com. It seemed very suspicious to me that neither of the two buyers was willing to spend a few minutes on the phone with me.

I then looked at the 2 reviews on puppyfind.com, from "Hannah" and "Glen". Both were posted on the same day, March 26, 2021, and both are over the top 5 star reviews. The reviews were almost identical, and generic. They looked totally fishy.

I did some sleuthing, and found out that the buyers of the 2 puppies were not "Hannah" and "Glen", but in fact were John N. from California and Jerry B. from New York. Neither of them had posted any reviews on puppyfind.com. So I knew for sure that the reviews were fake.

Not only that, Sierra had lied when she wrote that she had contacted the two buyers to ask if they would speak to me. Sierra had never contacted John or Jerry, and neither of them are happy customers.

Sierra saw that I was starting to get suspicious about buying 2 puppies from her for $9, 000, so she created fake users Hannah and Glen, and posted the fake online reviews. At the time that she posted the 2 fake reviews, You Got It Doods had a total of 18 puppies for sale, at prices ranging from $3500 to $4500 per puppy, for approximately $72, 000 worth of puppies! Obviously, they created these fake testimonials to scam potential buyers like me. Thank God I didn't fall for it.

One more thing... Remember how Sierra wrote me that there was a litter of 4, she sold 2 and she kept 2 for breeding? Well, it turns out she lied about that too. I found out later that one of the puppies that she supposedly "kept for breeding" had died at 8 weeks old, after testing positive for parvo but before being delivered to a buyer! I don't think she kept a dead puppy for breeding. And she failed to mention one more fact. Of the 2 puppies that she did sell to John and Jerry, one of them came down with parvo shortly after she delivered it to the buyer.

So not only do they engage in illegal false advertising, they flat-out lie to potential buyers about the health of their litters and the conditions of their kennels. If two of four puppies in a litter contracted parvo, their kennel must be badly contaminated with deadly parvovirus.

Run, do not walk, from You Got It Doods!

Desired outcome: Refer to law enforcement
