I submitted my Xiaomi 13T (IMEI: 864948062044982) to the authorized service center in Turkey (Evofone). Although the device was still under warranty, the service refused to repair the screen failure and demanded payment, claiming minor cosmetic scratches voided the warranty. These scratches are not related to the display malfunction.
I have filed an official case with the Consumer Protection Board (Case No: 2025/1665.352) requesting product replacement or full refund. In the meantime, I was forced to pay 2,500 TL externally just to regain use of the device and access my data.
This case is now being reviewed by government authorities.
This situation is about consumer rights and trust, not just repair cost. As a loyal Xiaomi user for years, this has severely damaged my confidence in the brand.
