I’m playing this game for more than 2 years and new changes kills game experience.
But let’s start with a good part. The game is awesome first of all because of a huge world wide real players community. It is great to play with real people online anytime.
I really like lots of challenges, variety of games, tournaments, rings, belts. This is one another reason to try this app to get new poker experience.
Now, the reason for 2 stars. I’m not going to complain about “noobs luck” and bots, being silent and going all in 2-7 preflop and winning. I can deal with it even if it’s just a true luck. But Clubs.
It completely kills my game experience! The higher club you are - the higher limit for games to enter, no matter how many chips you have. But that’s not all. Now, you will be promoted with “instant rank up” no matter want you or not!
I love roulette and played it a lot! And now I can’t just because it promotes to A club extremely fast and A entrance is 50M. Hey, give me an option to be J forever! I want to select game rooms myself. I want to be able to play with low chips all types of games!
Couple more about annoying and ridiculous “features” of this game.
Too many ads in lobby. Make a reasonable limit! E.g. 2-3 per hour. Or 5-10 per day. Make 20 DIFFERENT ads and show then with day-limit repeat... It keeps showing dozen same ads every time you enter lobby. Sad.
Ads close button/text link frequently EXTREMELY close to buy button and small. Hey! Stop fishing for missclick!
Ads pops up not just in lobby, but on ALL screens out of table. And all of them has buy button EXACTLY at the place of the only action of screen (like get free chips). Stop fishing for missclick x2!
App eats space. Almost 1GB local data for 2 month? There must be a video of all my games there! If you can not properly manage it, give me a cleanup button, please! I don’t like reinstall experience every couple moths. Yes, I’m limited in phone space, please, support me too.
App eats battery. It consumes more than google navigator or online video. That makes me sad every time, I want to play it far from charger. Low power mode helps, but why don’t you give low animation option in game? That definitely will be useful for thousands of users!

I did contact them yet again and still no response. You want case numbers? I got plenty. No one ever responds and they never give me my chips I’m owed! I deserve so much more now. I will not change this rating until I’ve been giving my chips!

There. That’s just the last 5. No responses in weeks. Tyrone told me I d get the chips and I have not. Curtis said all my messages had been responded to which is a lie. Check my spam box. I do. That’s where I find all the automated responses I get from messaging you. That’s the only response I get. If I don’t get chips immediately I’m contacting everyone I can to let it be known how you treat paying customers.

For weeks I have been contacting them about purchases I made that I didn’t receive my chips but was charged. Finally, I got a response saying they saw 2 purchases for 42.99 that I was supposed to get 1.7 billion in chips for but didn’t. They said since I had waited so long they’d give me an extra 5 billion in chips. Weeks and I’ve received nothing. I have contacted support multiple times to finally be answered and told that all my messages had been responded to and to check my spam. I was already getting the messages from my spam and I never received responses to my multiple messages asking when I’d receive my credit in chips. I have spent so much money on this game and to be treated this way is horrible business practice. Like it would really take that much time to credit some fake chips in an account on the game. I won’t spend a penny more and I’d suggest others not waste money on a game where they care so little about customer service. It’s a shame because I did enjoy the game but I can’t honestly give a good rating due to their lack of concern to their customers. There bonuses are terrible too. To play certain games I need 100 million or more to just begin to play but there daily bonuses are like 400 thousand. It makes no sense. Please don’t get addicted to this game like I did and waste your money on a company that doesn’t care about how they treat you. I’ve learned my lesson and felt it necessary to let others know. If you play this game, I highly suggest not spending real money on it.

My main complaint with this game is it should be WAY easier to play with ppl you know. Facebook is the only way to connect and you don’t want to do that! If you want to unfriendly someone in the game you can’t, you have to unfriendly them on Facebook! That’s right, the game holds your friends hostage so if you’re FB friends with your boss but don’t want to have them as a friend in the game, maybe so they can’t see how often you’re playing during work hours, you have to unfriendly them on FB to make that happen. How simple would it be to be able to locate ppl via username or email but the developers for one reason refuse to create that option. Is there something else they’re doing with all these FB accounts they have access to?

I like all the different type of tournaments and other games like All In or Fold. The algorithm could be tweaked to be more realistic. You can almost tell how the game takes turns giving ppl winning hands. Also there are ppl playing with billions of dollars, some who I friended and noticed they are always, always, ALWAYS on no matter the time of day or night, playing. That sounds really fishy to me. Oh but the quick texts make commenting during a game fun and easy and helps really get into the feel of talking mess during a table game. It really could be a wonderful app which brings me to my final and most important point...
The customer service is literally THE most unhelpful I’ve seen in a game ever! No matter your question or problem they’ll always tell you to send them screenshots of your username and device info (wonder what they’re using that for?) and then ALWAYS claim the problem you’re having is due to lack of storage space (which it isn’t). Mine has been crashing every 10 seconds for over a month now. I literally can’t play. I think it’s due to the fun but way overdone graphics they have added to the game because it doesn’t happen when I’m just floating through rooms or idle, only when those sounds, flashing lights and pop-ups happen. But I’m not even going to bother to write them about it. They’ll just claim it’s my storage space DESPITE my playing way more complicated games on the same device. I uninstalled and am about to reinstall to see if it fixes itself. If not I’ll find another app. They’re not the only casino in this cyberspace!

Ok I’m updating my entire review in response to the developer. Even if the dealing algorithm is completely random, which I still doubt due to how immensely different the game plays compared to real poker, this is still a scam, due to all the other factors they have not certified. Let me tell you why:

Mega Bonus: Not hard to bash this one. It’s a wheel you get to spin for chips every so often. Just watch it a few times and it’s clearly rigged to land on low values most of the time.

Daily Blitz: You choose a winner between two poker hands. It promises an insanely high amount of chips if you make it to the end, but it’s timed. The reason why this one is a scam, beyond the hands deliberately set up to trick you which is ok I guess, after you choose a hand, it takes forever to play the animation to show you the next one. The timer keeps going through each animation, so you actually get much less time than it claims. Also not getting all the way to the end gives you much less chips.

Friend Gifts: Gives such a low amount of chips even if you’re getting gifts from 20+ people.

Slots: Very easy to rig this one. But also depending on the stakes of the table you’re at, the minimum bet for it raises. Also it starts at a high bet, so you have to manually lower it before starting. One time I accidentally hit it and lost 10M right there.

Quests: Promises a high amount of chips if you make it to the end. The quests are super easy up until you get pretty close to the end, then it spikes the difficulty astronomically where you have to either take huge risks, or play for hours and hours.

Clubs: You have to keep playing to stay within your club rank. The higher you get, the more rewards you get, but you have to win exponentially more chips to stay in. For example I made it to the middle of ‘Aces’ and would have to win over 2 billion chips in a couple days or I’d get bumped down.

So yea, still a scam. And also every time you open the game you get plastered with ad after ad after ad to buy chips. And any time you play daily blitz or mega bonus you have to watch a long animation for a version of it that can win you more chips but it costs money to play. You HAVE to watch the whole thing before you can exit it. It’s just so needlessly greedy and I wish I could continue to play it but it’s just not worth it.

UPDATE*** As you can see below I wrote a lengthy review of this game because I have made two in-app purchases and never received the items I purchased. Their support acknowledges I made the purchase, my credit card was charged, and there was a glitch and they cannot see if I received the items I paid for. In spite of this they refuse to credit my account with the items I have rightfully purchased and they also refuse to refund the $37.98 I was charged. After that lengthy review I received a response from the developer that is their cut and paste diatribe left for people who complain about game mechanics. THAT IS THE PERFECT EXAMPLE of the type and effort of customer service they provide. This game is a license to print money and they will only do what’s necessary to keep that press printing and their actual customers be damned

I have been playing this game for a few years now and have met some nice people while playing. WSOP has the same problem every online poker game has because it’s impossible to write code for a truly random deal so you see hands over and over that are statistically improbable.

That is not my complaint. My issue is that they offer in-app purchases of chips and they will take your money and not credit the chips to your account. Then they refuse to refund your money. That is the definition of theft. I purchased the $17.99 chip package and never received the chips...TWICE! The fact that it is a repeated action clearly demonstrates intent. I submitted trouble tickets with receipt numbers and transaction numbers and got ZERO resolution. I was told they wouldn’t give me the chips or a refund and they referred me to iTunes support for a refund, but surprise surprise, iTunes doesn’t refund in-app purchases and they referred me back to app support. It’s a vicious loop to avoid accountability. The worst part of it all is that the chips are valueless, it will cost them nothing to credit the chips to my account and yet they refuse to credit my account with chips that were PAID FOR.

This is beyond a poor customer service issue and has progressed to REPETITIVE THEFT. If this was a brick and mortar business I would have called the police. Now they won’t even respond to my trouble tickets. DO NOT throw your money away with this game. You are better off just lighting your money on fire, at least then you can watch it burn.

Have fun play the game but never buy chips, the entire premise is to sell you chips. Here’s what happens, it’s fare in that everyone looses equally as in 9 seats at a table your luck pretty much runs bad 8 out of the 9 times you play but if that isn’t bad enough the table take is excessive and if two or more players tie most times while splitting a pot you net loose.

WSOP claims the deal is random, it’s not they are lying if you play enough the patterns and same hands in the same order are obvious, you cards when your lucky streaks mostly can’t be beat it matters not your hole cards, new players get lucky streaks until their stack builds then the luck changes. The deal is designed to make you bet you often flop 4 to a flush and 4 to a straight they almost never complete when luck runs bad and the other players cards will entice big bets from them when your junk hole cards are scripted to give you the nuts so most time you fold you hand to a big bet only to see you folded the nuts while AA, KK, AK most of the time are crushed on the flop, turn and river. Bad beats abound in every combination the deck is always designed to run in a way to cut into your chips and you are constantly forced to tolerate offers to buy chips in the store sometimes 5 or more ina a row in rapidly one after another no matter your bank. Get a straight and watch the flush complete on the river for another player 8 out of 9 times make a small flush again same thing. If you have played enough you know exactly what I’m talking about. If you limit you play to the time you are lucky you build a bank if not you will loose. The 3 person sit and go is your best odds to build your bank in all buy in values. Most other players are decent and fun to play with… you can have fun, just don’t buy chips, that is WSOP only objective to sell you play money because everything about that game in engineered to sell chip. So take the free chips, play when you are winning and quit early as you can when the play is against you (most of the times) but let me repeat don’t buy chips… don’t don’t don’t save your hard earned coin and just play for free. When your luck is bad it take a hand or two… three? To adjust to a table move you will often in the first two hands hit a winner… walk early to bank those chips because AK is coming only to not complete loosing yo a small pair. Did I mention don’t buy chips.

Have fun, kill time sometimes you win but generally you loose.

Well with all the past problems that I have written about and this company ignored they have now topped their incompetence level. The latest "WSOP" update shows a true level of idiocy. Now when I try to access the game I stay logged in only long enough to see the initial advertisement before it kicks me out. Once again proving the programmers don't bother to beta test before launching.

This is my third or fourth review with the same complaint. They don't respond to issues sent to them and all they do is send a form letter saying you should contact their "Concierge Service" which doesn't respond and wants you to give a higher rating. What a poorly run operation.

It is now over three months and tech support hasn't responded. I get kicked out of games after 10 - 15 hands. This is a horrible app.

Tech support still hasn't responded to me after six weeks plus. I received an email based on my last review excusing tech support because they are so busy but no response from tech support. This is a sad commentary on this game.
Tech support is non-existent. The game kicks me out in the middle of hands and instead of giving me the chips for watching ads they are paid to show. I have written to tech support and they just ignore me.
This is one of the worst poker games. It is strictly a money making scam. You can earn chips and active effects for watching ads that they get paid for, for each hit "that is in theory". The reality is you watch they get paid and you don't receive the chips or effect.
For me this is the third time I have gone through it. The first two times I wrote to Tech Support and they corrected the issue. This time I have written twice in the last month and no corrective action has taken place and no feedback from Tech Support. I estimate I have lost out on 10 million in chips in the last month due to this problem.

The bias for the purchased high ranked bias is obvious, the other day I played 15 hands consecutive hands without pairing up. This is statistically impossible.
The advertisements for free chips are a scam. 1/3 of all advertisements either freeze your system or kick you out of the game. In either case you sit through the entire add that they are paid to display but they don't payout as promised.
Favors the purchased player. For those of us who don't buy chips we get all small cards while purchased players get pairs and high cards. I've seen players get hole cards pairs every three or four hands. Texas Holdem is a less bias game.
