I purchased 2 male Maine Coon kittens for $1000. The shipper demands an additional $2000 for a special electronic crate. When I purchased the kittens the price included shipping. After several back and forths with the shipper, Guarantee Express Logistics, and the breeder have gone silent and will not respond to phone calls, texts or emails. So Im out $1000. I should have recognized the many red flags, but I really wanted those kittens.
Desired outcome: To get my $1000.00 back and for the breeder and shipper who I think are working together to held accountable, Im probably not the only one to get robbed like this by the theives.
Please, with caution, review Starline Maine Coons, keeping in mind that people and companies need to be innocent until proven guilty. I am not 100% sure but Starline Maine Coon MAY BE the name the company is being run under now or they have multiple site. I only started my review search because I wanted to know about possible issues with shipping Maine Coon pets before purchasing. And then started searching for reviews under Starline Maine Coon shipping issues, nothing came up and I thought I was in the clear. Until I saw a complaint against White Forest Maine Coon, dated July 05, 2022, and it included pictures with exactly the same email I received from Starline. I saw the above replies and with further review, yes, indeed the website has misspellings, and such, as mentioned in the other reply posts. I felt that I should at least give you what I am seeing in hopes to hopefully avoid any others from being scammed, if it is a scam, and if it is a scam give you an avenue to start to make you whole for the money taken from you.

They almost scammed me, thankfully my husband thought something was a little strange. So, i asked for pictures of the parents and they kept ignoring my questions. Then i asked for a video of the kitten, so i could see it was real. They just kept saying he's sleeping and then sent me a old cheesy video of a cat, they probably pulled up online. They are complete scammers. I read in an article, which i didnt even think about. But, every picture there is a different background, they were cutting and pasting.
Thank you for this. I was about to purchase a kitten from White Forest Maine Coon, but the lack of proper spelling and grammar on their website made me stop and think. I had to dig deep for your review and am grateful I did. I am sorry that you did not get your kittens.
Hi, I’m concerned as I would like to buy a kitten here. Isn’t having everything in the contract and using PayPal enough to guarantee no extra charges. The other review about the two cats and $2k crate really stumps me. But also charging only $100 for airline shipment also seems low. Any comments?
