I just noticed two strange looking charges made to my checking account and called my bank to report them. The charges appear as WFC PBP CP WEB PMT. The charges are one for $50.00 and one for $57.00 and were made on January 5 and January 19, 2011 respectively. When I contacted my bank, I was told that they could't verify the companies that submitted these charges but that they were going to put a hold on any future charges on both companies. When I googled WFC PBP CP WEB PMT, I discovered that many more people are being cheated out of their money using the same method. Folks, check your bank statements often and make sure you identify each transaction and report any charges from companies you don't do business with. Someone is making a ton of money illegally!
I was charged $50 by WFC PBP CP WEB PM on 02/08/2011. I have no idea about this company and did not authorize the charges.

I am on a $35 dollar for a year plan as i becane disabled. i make ONE low interest free pmt a month and dont use the card and resume a tear later. Either way they are not following our agreement and they have been charging me a couple times a month for amounts much higher. The last being for $80, another for $60 abd so on. Acct being closed and no one us getting a dime now.

Today, I went to my online banking statement and noticed a debit transaction from my checking account. I have not noticed this WFC PBP CP WEB PMT before, but has occured twice. So I googled them and found this page. Fortunately, what this stands for is World Financial Capital Bank (WFCB). It is a payment that you have made on an HSN credit card (which is Home Shopping Network) or another form of credit card payment that you have either made online, or by phone for a credit card account. It took me some investigative research and talking with a superior bank customer service rep who helped me resolve my complaint. I researched the company and then found out they hold credit card services for businesses. The only credit card I have is an HSN card, so I went to my account activity statement and found that these debits were from their bank, which is World Financial Capital Bank (WFCB.
THE PROBLEM: What the problem appears to be is that this bank is a financial institution that is totally unfamiliar with the people and this is who is holding the financial accounts of these credit businesses. Normally, we see who the debitor of accounts are by their name. For example, Old Navy or Macy's. But this is a huge bank that businesses do business with that take care of all of their accounts. The acronyms of the bank that we all see on our bank statements is alarming because of we do not know what this is and with all the internet and fraudulent crime today, rightfully so. So the next time you see this, just think about your credit card activity and payments you have made. However, just as any other professional would tell you...be diligent in knowing exactly what company is utilizing this bank for their clients financial transactions. IF there is not one...then take action from there to resolve your banking transaction disputes.

I just had this WEBWFC PBP BR show up and i was a little nervous... then i remembered the one bill i paid online that was for the amount (100.00)
I have a andwords business credit card Issued by World capital bank So yes be careful when you stop payments it could cost you.

Everyone needs to settle down... WFC is World Financial Capital. For me, it's my HSN chargecard. My bank account also says PBP (pay by phone) which I did not; I did it online.
Check all your charge cards & look to see who the bank is that issues them. I bet you'll find WFC on one of them...
i was told the same thing by my bank 42.00 on 03/08/2011 from WFC PBP CP / - WEB PMT
