The Westgate Townhome Association is a ripoff. There are so many of us that pay for nothing. We get no type of service in return for a hefty monthly payment. The management at Management Realty Partners are some of the most arrogant, smug, irritating ### I have ever had to deal with. Why do you think there are so many people attempting to move. The trolls on the board make the rules beneficial to fit their needs, they treat people like ###, and we don't even have a swimming pool. Snow fills our driveways and we are stranded in our homes like prisoners while the sorry ### snow removal company comes two days later. I hate Westgate and pretty much everything it stands for. It should be called Hellsgate, because the community is hell. The neighbors are either rude, or they look like they are from the ghetto, or a trailer park. What once was a nice, pristine neighborhood has turned into the projects, and there is nothing that is ever done but the increase of our assessments. Where is a new park, club house, tennis courts, swimming pool, something worth the amount of money that we pay! The idiots that attempt to maintain our property are illegal or here on a green card and don't understand English like Palin doesn't know politics. WTF? There are rumored crazy people that live in the community, a naked lady that shows her vagina to every viewer that passes, fighting people, drug dealers, fighting children, trash, abusive husbands, people are so petty they even compete and get the same color cars and lap band surgery. This is not Peyton Place, its Hells Kitchen, and at some point of time, it needed to be recorded, reported, and the world should know that there is hell on earth, right in good ol' Gurnee, Illinois. Pray for these evil people, and protect our children from the wrath of the evil that they spew. So many people move and refuse to even visit once they leave, unfortunately I have only lived here for five years and the things I have heard and seen in that time are more than I can handle. I will hope to move if I can find a buyer, but this association and management should be put on notice. They should be kinder to the tenants, and make some cosmetic changes for the better.

Another person moved. Thanks to the crazy next door to her. Don't you think its about time Westgate to move that alcoholic out of her flophouse? Is this what we pay for? To watch moving trucks full of nice people move while the evil rodents stay to rot.
This is the worst place on earth to live. I cannot imagine that hell could be better. The racism and cruelty is endless. The association has manipulated everything to benefit MRP and the homeowner's are complete fools. There are no amenities for the exorbitant fees that are spent and there are double standards that are obvious. People want to live in peace especially when their money is contributing to the better good of the community, the toxicity of the board and their power seeking mantra is enough to make anyone want to move. No one will be allowed to rent their unit unless they either are favorites of the board members or it is an actual board member that wants to rent, otherwise you're SOL,
The association is comprised with people who enjoy saying NO. They could give two ### what your financial situation is. Despite their calculating method of refusing homeowners to rent their property, the community has become flooded with the lowest ### on the earth. There are civil servers driving around constantly to serve summons to another foreclosed tenant. When someone attempts to put sanctions on how a person can control the profitability of their investment, Karma does have a nice way of biting them in the ###. The association is loaded with bullies who don't have enough of a life of their own to feel gratification, so this is the power they need in order to feel value. The community is going to rot because the demographic is damn near like the slums. There are rats seen running around the excessive trash outdoors and I have yet to figure out what the landscapers do other than grab a siesta. SCREW them all!
The biggest injustice of late is the "association's" stance on not allowing the town-home owners to rent out their units. The association members or lack of a better term are being totally insensitive to the economic downturn by not allowing owners that are in dire straights not to rent out their units. They have only allowed one family so far to rent out their unit. That is because the family was a military family. The association knew better than to mess with an active duty military member serving his country. They are even going as far as telling individual owners to do a "short sale." That ignorant advice just shows their lack of concern for others and their level of insensitivity and stupidity. They are under the impression that by not allowing renters, they are keeping out low income families and minorities. However, on the contrary. The housing market is now a BUYERS MARKET. Thus those same people that you are shunning and trying to keep out of West gate are the ones that are now able to afford homes. So when you advise people to "short sale" you are in essence bringing in low income families and former renters. You should have thought of that when you came around with your little petition and tried to bully everyone in to signing. Now the joke is on the "association." Karma...Karma...Karma..I just hope none of the association members are forced to try to sell their units...Karma..Karma...Karma...
