Purchased a vacation package from Vacation Rewards International on 04/05/2021.
For $862 received certificated stating I had purchase Three vacations and had up to five years to use the vacations. I called on 01/27/2023 to ask about planning a vacation and was told that VIP Globe had purchased their data base but not their contracts, but honor my certificated if I paid an additional $571 for a one time resort reservation fee, was told I had three days to make up my mine or forfeit the money I had already paid in good faith.
They sent an email listing the same vacation package as I have listed on my certificate but these vacations have to be used within 12 to 18 months.
Desired outcome: I want VIP Globe to honor by contract that paid for. I did not ask for my money back.If a compromise is accepted I would like to be able to choose one of the vacations that I purchased.
Palm resort vacations and VIP Globe are scammers. I paid Palm vacations for a vacation package I never received because their website and phone number were disconnected shortly after I paid almost $900 for my package. Last week, on the same credit card a random hotel attempted to charge another $600. Once they have your info they will continue to try to SCAM SCAM SCAM. Now this week I'm getting marketing emails and calls from VIP Globe stating they bought palm vacations and want to honor my package, as long as I give them credit card number to put a deposit down. TOTAL BS! Already took my money once, not getting another dime. Don't do it, it's to good to be true. I would like to escalate this so they can be caught but I know that's extremely unlikely as these scammers are impossible to track down and they change phone numbers and emails constantly and just start new scams.
Purchased my package 3yrs ago from DreamSuites Intl. Paid $900. Tried to make a reservation, company had gone out of business. VIP Globe emailed said I could get it back for $250. But after calling them I'm not eligible because my significant other wouldn't be traveling with me. Total crap.
Did this website help any of you get justice from this vacation scam?
I got the same email, $571 USD, bought in 2021 from Vacation express international, they had the same package # in my email, saying they were trying to call me and email me and i had until 7pm that day to make up my mind and pay.
VIPglobe website was put up in 2022. Jason Jones was the contact.

The website is "under maintenance" ? (cyber attack?)
I did not get immediate bounceback on the email addresses though.

I did call about 6 months ago with some questions and the number put me through and they answered some of my questions...so I don't know what to think with phone number invalid and website under maintenance and emails not an immediate bounceback.
I purchased a vacation package for over $800. I called to speak to Betty (I was told she was my vacation planner) and never got her and never got a call back. I was later told my vacation plan would be terminated unless I paid more money. This is a smooth scam.
We just got the same email Telling us we have until the end of today to $571 USD or we loose all of our money we already paid. This shouldn’t be allowed.
I had something similar happen, but started it all started when I purchased a Palm
Beach package that was acquired by VIP Globe. They later called me and said that I needed to pay them about $399 to be reinstated. I see now that it is all a way for them to upsell and make more money on the original package. I think I will cut my losses. This is a way for them to raise the price of the original package. When someone burns me, I don't go back for more pain. I can forgive but I cant forget. Thanks but no thanks.
