10/22: My boyfriend and I went to the store together. He was buying a beer and told me to get out of the store stating that I was underage. I offered to get my ID to prove my age. I brought my ID back in, she refused to look at it. She started speaking badly about me to my boyfriend and under her breath. I asked her to stop speaking badly about me. She got mad and called the police and told them I refused to show her my ID. We got our merchandise from the other cashier. She threatened to "go outside." We left.
10/23: My friend and I returned to get cigarettes for my mom. The cashier threw my ID and my mom's cigarettes back at me after checking out. I asked her boss why it is acceptable for her to throw things at me like that. I tried to leave. Another person, I'm unsure of her relationship to the store, tried to get my license plate number. She got out and laid hands on me. She grabbed my throat and left scratches. I defended myself and was the only one who got arrested. I believe the camera footage was altered because the police did not appear to get the full story from the workers at the store or the camera footage. The cashier tried to jump in and it seemed like she was attacking me as well. I tried to make a complaint through the corporate office as well, but I do not believe they have done anything to rectify the way I was treated.
The cashier's name is Nichole McDonald. The manager was Elizabeth Fisher.
Desired outcome: I also want to ensure the camera footage is not altered as it is evidence in a case now. I would like it to be noticed how poorly I was treated on these days.
