Visited Vetco in Petco @Sunnyvale, CA multiple times. First and foremost the doctors do NOT update the pet records. I had visited on October 5 and had got Lepto vaccine (first dose) for Aarkay. Then I went again for the second dose in Nov 23 but there were NO records updated by Vetco and hence the doctor refused to give the Second Dose and I had to complain to the Store Manager of Petco who advised me to write to Vetco to update the records.
Again I wrote and updated the records and booked an appointment again on Dec 2nd and showed them the updated records which mentioned 11th Nov for the second dose and asked them to give the second dose. The Vetco doctor did NOT give the vaccine and also discriminated against me since I was an Indian and also wearing a dye on my hair. They NOT only refused service but also refused to give the name of the doctor who was NOT doing her duty. This is totally UNFAIR and Discriminatory and severe penalty should be put on the doctor and the staff for their actions. Video proof attached capturing all the staff at Vetco.
Claimed loss: Vetco should take care of all the medications needed & make it current. Also provide free vaccinations and pet insurance.
Desired outcome: Vetco should provide adequate compensation for the discriminatory action of their employees Also Vetco should provide the pet medical insurance for the affected pet for the life of the dog / next 10 years.
