I ordered a venting pipe for my furnace, "60 IN STOCK" and was told the next day after inquiring about the status, the product is not in stock and will be shipped straight from the manufacturer. I then received an e-mail stating that the item would ship "in about a week". I called the vendor and asked to cancel the order. I was told they would have to stop the manufacturer from fabricating the item and get back to me. After not hearing from them, I called the manufacturer and was told they do not do business with these companies and have been getting a lot of call's from customer's "wondering where their item's are"! This site is just one of many under "Build.com", so beware.

Same terrible service! All items I ordered where listed in stock will ship in one to two day. big joke! They don't stock a thing and depend on the manufacturer to ship not knowing what they have on the shelf. I placed my order on 11.16. Here it is 12.14 and I still don't have my order. The only thing Ventpipe.com did quickly was take my money from PayPal. Please stay clear. These folks only care about the sale and not satisfying customers. My guess is they realize most people will only need to purchase from them once or twice in a life time.

I was hesitant to buy from ventingpipe.com after reading the complaint above. I went for it any way. The Ash Vault door that I order was shipped very promptly and without any issues. I think it was at my mailbox in less than 7 days even though I ordered right around christmas. The invoice says build.com and I had no issues.

omg I'm Thomas Myers This is the worst site I have ever dealt with .Please stay away from them. I live in South Florida and wanted to put my chimney in for free standing stove. I called a talked to a very nice person Jeff . I told him what I had and he said he would make up a package of everything I needed. That was the start of hell. I got a couple box's with wrong stuff . I got a box that had one piece and was suppose to have three pieces in it . When I called customer service line she almost was calling me a liar. I had a 7'' stove they sent 6''cap and triple wall pipe it was just the worst company ever..The stuff that was sent wrong they wanted me to load up and take to ups .I refused said no way..After several months over emails and sending stuff back I got the whole order.. By that time it is 100 degrees in Florida. That was at the beginning of 2011. We just put it in last week and I have a extra 48'' pipe that was not needed at a cost of about 200 dollars. I contacted c/s and the said I could not return it since it had been so long..Well if it had not been months and months getting the order!
I'm 62 and this is the worst place ever I don;t care where you buy your stuff but STAY AWAY..
