I am just sending you a copy of our cancellation letter which was sent to Ontario home services in July. We had also informed Embridge as to our dispute

Subject: Completed Cancellation Letter July 8th/2018
Ontario Home Services:

This is my formal notice of cancellation to you of the documented address of 330 Kern Road, Suite 201, Toronto, Ontario M3B 1T1 and the phone number [protected]. This cancellation is in relation to the HVAC rental agreement and more specifically the completion Certificate which seemingly was signed by someone other than the owners of the home. This cancellation is also being submitted based on the fraudulent claims made to us by your company representative that stated not only would we receive a rebate based on the installation of this high-efficiency furnace, but also that we would see the savings in a short time in our bill payments. We have called your company several times to follow up on the claims originally stated and were told we would have to wait up to 3 to 6 months to receive our rebate. In good faith we patiently waited though somewhat unsettled. We subsequently called the representative Godfrey, whose number was still in our possession to inquire as to the claims stated to us. He in turn apologized for the gross injustice and stated he was no longer employed by you and that he had received several calls of a similar nature. We were then directed to IESO Green Ontario to attempt to find out about this rebate. They intern directed us back to your company. Eventually after many calls we were alerted by one of the Ontario Home Services the reps that our installed heater was not the Energy star model that was deemed for the rebate as was stated to us. In fact it was through calling that we were enlightened as to the model number and Serial number of the unit installed. It was conveniently left off the completion certificate which once again was signed by our son who was under 18 at the time. We were not present. We have been deceived and penalized with payments doubling what we have have been accustomed to once again based on the fraudulent representation and verbal statements given to us. At no point is there Fairness to the consumer and in fact we are estimating that we are being expected to pay a cost that far exceeds the true price of the furnace and of which was NOT as was spoken to us directly. NONE of the terms mentioned actualized. We henceforth are initiating the cancellation of this contract as of today, Monday, July 9th, 2018 in Lieu of fraudulent claims and representation, a non-binding completion agreement signed by a minor, and due to the violation of Bill 193, Door -to-Door Sales Prohibition Act 2016, Subsection 3 and 4.

Furthermore, we are requesting a refund and return of our original equipment coupled with a reply immediately as this is an urgent matter of most importance. We do have our original documents including the completion Certificate which did not have the New equipment name and which was signed by a youth under the age of 18. We also have documented the dates we had called to your company based on your direction of, November 7th ( told it takes 3 to 6 months to actualize), called back in December, several times in March with no callback, March 29th spoke to Valerie. Called back April 3rd in pursuit of what we thought was missed rebate info only to get copies of the original document that showed product information missing from our document and also realizing that our signature was not on the completion form. We have also attached a copy of the consumer complaint notice.

The same happened to my parents 2 years ago and we are still on it...you will need to gather lots of proof. these guys are ruthless...they even sent a fake contract with my father's forged signature and a cd that was fabricated as well as the person on the line was a male but in reality, my Dad spoke to a woman!
