USB Network Carrier Service Charges added on to our Telephone Bill. for review: usbi (third - party carrier/ telephone charges)

Several unauthorized usbi "network service bill - mth service bill (fees) attached for our long distance phone bill through century link.. Demanding payments... Who/what is a usbi? We did not/nor do not have any business dealings with such a company? Nor with anyone with those initials. We called our phone carrier (century link) on 12/05/19 @ 7:18 am (pst) and were told to contact [protected]. Apparently this is a bogus/scam number also, as the computer voice associated to this number states"they will return our call within 24 - 72 hours or our wait time on the handset is in que for excess of 10 minutes.. But no one ever pickspicks up the line.
