Subaru

Took my 2010 Subaru to ST J Subaru to have a recall on an airbag replaced and have a used ECM installed to have the key programmed into the ECM. I was told the Vin could not be programmed into a used ECU and that the were not able to program the key into the ECM so they installed the original ECM and reprogrammed it, so the car will run. This is BS. I have an Autel 906BT and I can program the vin into the ECM but in order to program a key I need a Key code in order to delete the keys and allow programming into the used ECM, I have called them to get the key code and provided the last 8 vin to get the code and the code they provide will not work. This is why I took the car to them but they are not able to program it. I called to get the code for the unit in the car and that code doesn't work either.
