Kroger - Pharmacy

1. The pharmacy did not have my antibiotic prescription available until 24 hours after my accident.

2. I was sent a text when the Rx was ready and called to see if that was the correct price because it was an outrageous price. I was told they didn't have my insurance information and could not quote what the price would be with insurance. This was the clerk working at 3:30 on 3-23-22. I doubted the truthfulness of the statement because I had given the clerk the evening before all the necessary information when I found out Kroger didn't even have the prescription.

3. The evening of 3-23-22 when I went into the store to give my insurance information I waited behind the current customer being served for 20 minutes while the very slow employee worked both the in-store window and the drive through window while the in-store line continued to grow. This was a repeat of the scenario from the evening before when I first went to pick up my Rx that wasn't there around 7 PM.

Finally getting my turn I explained I was told they didn't have my insurance info and couldn't tell me the cost of my Rx. But the clerk stated they did have my info and easily told me the cost of the Rx with insurance. Clearly the employee on the phone from 3-23-22 gave me false information.

Given that the price with insurance was still too high and I walked away without my prescription, it was a complete waste of time and effort to go out in the pouring rain to stand in line for 20 minutes to find out what the clerk on the phone could have easily told me.

I will not be using Kroger pharmacy again.

Desired outcome: If you have only one employee serving customers, then close one of the lines.Allow the Pharmacist to help the clerk when the need is clear.Train employees to give correct information over the phone.
