I went to the Children's place on 19507 Interstate 45 Ste 518, Spring, TX 77388 6/29/2021 at 3pm CST.. The store was quiet and empty there were 3 staff members and 1 pretty much working the other 2 were in the back. No Biggie. So me and my 3 children all under age 10 began looking for boy clothes as he is who we are shopping for. However, soon as I tell her I am ready to check out out of nowhere the other 2 staff members fly to the register and guard the area. I notice this because I am like does it take 3 people to check out 1 patron? So I use the State voucher because I am buying for my foster child and I went over so I pay the remaining amount out of my personal funds. So I ask for a receipt and 1 one the ladies tell me that I they don't provide a receipt for a voucher purchase, because there are no returns, only even exchanges. So I ask what about the amount I paid on my credit card? She was not able to provide a response only repeated herself. So I asked what if I need to exchange anything what proof of purchase am I using if all 3 of you are not the same staff that are present if I need to exchange anything, she just stated that, I need to indicate that I paid with a voucher. I stated that I just went to Ross for my other purchase and I was given a receipt and her response was that Ross is a different store and policy is different. So I am here making a complaint because that doesn't make sense. Also Since Customer Service was already closed for the day I will be calling back tomorrow, Also I will contact my caseworker and advise that Children's Place is unable to provide receipts for State Vouchers for foster children even for my records as proof of purchase.
