Suddenlink Communications - Account for the mosaic center

On Tuesday, June 30 around 9 am our Suddenlink connection was lost. We believe it was broken (cut the line?) by the City of Lufkin crew that was clearing the utility easement next to our property line. The City denied pulling down any wires in the clearing. We felt sure the line had been cut, so a call was made immediately to Suddenlink to report the "cut" line and a request for maintenance was supposedly issued by the dispatcher. The estimated day/time for a maintenance man to come was between 8 am- Noon on Thursday, July 2. I called on Wednesday and spoke with the dispatcher asking if there was anyway for someone to come out sooner because we were without phones (internet based system) as well as internet service. A technician was sent (not maintenance) that evening and he checked the line at the pole and the line at the Center and said both seemed to be working and that it would require a maintenance person to address the problem. Suddenlink dispatcher has a record of every call we made and each time verified that no work order was issued for a maintenance man. Our internet was not restored until Friday, July 10 around 11 am. The technician said the signal strength was too weak to support our phone system modem and that the Suddenlink Booster down further on the street needed to be checked. He said he would put in a work order for maintenance to check the Booster. We have yet to be able to have our internet phone system be able to hold a signal for more than 1-2 minutes before the call is dropped, even in-house calls. This has been an ongoing unresolved case with no follow-up from Suddenlink since July 10. I am talking with Consolidated Communications about switching services and cancelling service with Suddenlink. The complete lack of maintenance support is unacceptable!
