My son got his hair cut there today for the first time. I do not know the name of the girl who did his hair but it was a very poor experience for myself and my son. She was extremely rude, did not cut my sons hair the length he’d asked. First thing, I asked if I could sit in the empty chair (I’ve done this at previous Sports Clips salons. I problem) and isntesd of telling me a simple no, she looked me over, made a face and snapped saying “you need to go sit over there.“ I ignored the rude behavior, I don’t have energy for it. Then shortly after I was in the other room, she tried asking my 11yo what hairstyle he wants and what tools the stylist usually uses on his hair. (He’s 11. He doesn’t know). So I can back over and said I wasn’t sure, we wanted it to blend in and have a fade and that I’ve seen scissors used before. Not long from that moment she is asking another stylist to come help, and come over and is struggling with his hair. I had to come over again and explain we wanted a fade so she doesn’t have to ONLY use scirssors. She snapped at me saying “That’s what I just asked you! I asked if it was scissors or Clippers”. She rolled her eyes at me, was rough with my child while cutting his hair and did not even cut his hair or blend it out as we asked. I was pressed for time and had to go home. Upon further isneoction I realized how uneven the length was and that nothing blended. I called the salon afterwards, explained the situation and was told to just come back and they’d fix it. We returned later when my schedule allowed, and instead of allowing us in, making it a priority to fix the issue they caused, they made us wait a whole hour to be seen. So now I have waited 2 hours today for a simple overpriced haircut. Bad service all around. Go somewhere else and save yourself time and the headache.
