Today, March 15, 2013 I went to purchase some items to this Kmart location. I paid about five items at customer service where Maria, the customer service cashier who charged me was very rude. I was not greeted by her no hello nothing no smile. She was on the phone the whole time she took care of me, only putting the phone down to tell me in a really annoyed and bothered tone "You're not supposed to remove the price stickers from the shelves". She said this in an extremely rude manner. I politely replied that I didn't remove any tags that they were already on my items. She also failed to ask me if I have a rewards card or if I wanted a sears credit card. As a former Kmart employee, I know is not acceptable customer service. I will no longer be doing business at this Kmart location.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
wow, you sound like such a pleasant customer, (sarcasm).
You are upset because she didnt ask you a ton of annoying questions? Most people would be pleased by that. And so what if you are a former employee, its none of your business how they do things now since you are no longer associated with them.
For all you know, she could've been having a bad day, we all have them. But again, that is none of your business.
I work at Kmart, and there is a rule in which you have to check out at the service desk if you're in their uniform. At least that's the way it is at the one I work at. I hate this rule because it takes FOREVER at the service desk, because there are others who are returning or exchanging items.
