5/18/23-Have been renting 10x10 since I arrived in Dallas, Jan. 2020 price was $80 per month. Following year 2021 received notice rent 100% rental increase to $160 per month. Negotiated to $135. I challenged them to show me any inflation, cost increases to utilities, property taxes etc. To justify the 100% rental increase, which they could not. Today, I received a call that they received my $135 payment, but my new increase was $235. Another 100% rental increase. Have not received the 30 notice and even if I did the increase is outrageous. I'm planning to travel the world in sept. And am conflicted on moving my items elsewhere or suffering another insane increase at their discretion since they are month to month. Filing a formal complaint again, because I see this as gouging. Not going without a fight. Join me! Help me call them out!
