Went in for an oil change on a 2017 Subaru Forester and the inexperienced technician (on the job for just 2 days per the upper bay techician) drained the transmission fluid and not the oil. Manager said the transmission fluid was refilled and apoligized. I asked him to document what had happened on the receipt and it states: "transmission drained had to be refilled". Drove home on Friday. Started car on Monday and loud whining sound started when put in gear. Contacted Subaru and they said not to drive the vehicle, to tow it to the dealership. Dealership said they recovered just over half the amount of transmission fluid that should have been in the car, so it wasn't filled properly.
Went back to Jiffy Lube with the dealership repair cost last week and the manager named "Dallas" said they are responsible, and district manager would call Subaru directly with credit card and pay but now nothing has happened. The car is ready, and the bill needs to be paid. It's been ten days since the oil change.
Desired outcome: Please pay the dealership
Subaru dealership called and said the bill has been paid, one day after posting the complaint.
