This is my child 12th grade year and she is already failing two classes due to being word from 10am until 11pm at night on the week ends. week days when she do work she is scheduled from 5 until close, which is 10:30 or 11 pm. She gets off the school but at 4pm. she have homework throughout the week and the weekend. she has never missed a day. I was told by the general manager that it was not his job to make sure that my child get her homework done. His job was to make sure that his store was properly staffed. (Basically) H e told me that he went to college full-time and worked full-time and she should be able to do the same. she is a teenager in high school and I must ask? (Where do she have the time if she is only accommodating the job. I am asking the company to review her past schedules from this 10/18/2020. Me and my child has spoken to the Asst. Manager who makes the schedule 3 times with then a month prior to this complaint. when my child first started this job she also worked 40 hours in one week and did not get paid for. The management staff was aware of this and she was told by the owner that there was nothing that he can do. I could have pursued it but we just let it go. This is not only happening to my child. Someone really needs to look into management. I let the Manager know that Mariah will not be returning to a job that does not put the child education first. she was faithful to the job and had great work ethic.
