Nissan - clayton tucker 2017 nissan frontier paint

I have a 2017 Nissan Frontier SV. The paint on the fenders in front of the back tires is chipping really bad. I have gotten several opinions of the issue and most everyone says that is from rocks.I did have a bodyshop owner look at it too, and in his opinion he stated that he believed it was the too high to be soley rocks. However, I have looked at older models 2005-2018 with higher mileage than mine and the paint in the exact spot is not even a 1/4 bad as mine. Therefore I do not believe it is rocks, but the paint job itself. I have attached some photos and my truck has 25K miles.

I first noticed the paint chipping at approximately 5K miles.

Nissan - warranty

I purchased a 2017 Nissan Maxima in March 2019. This was a purchase outside a Nissan Dealership. At the time, the car had only 1900 miles. I took it to a Nissan dealer to get an oil change. Since it is the first time for the car to be serviced at this dealership, they went through the car's records in their data system. They then informed me the car's VIN # does not have a Warranty associated with it. Odd right? So I contact Nissan's Consumer Affairs Dept and informed them of the warranty issue. The Regional Specialist assigned to my case informs me the car was sold to be used in Japan and, therefore, there's no warranty on the car. HS! The car was made in the US, it's being used in the US, it is under 3 years old, and under 36K miles. It should have a warranty. If the car was shipped to Japan, then I will understand it not having a warranty there. But, the car is in the US. Go figure! So I'm joining the band wagon of complaints against Nissan. I like their cars, but this will be the last Nissan I purchase. I will not deal with companies with shoddy business practices.
