Burger King

We were at the Hwy 24, Anderson, SC location 8/24 at 1PM. I placed my food order and noticed a dollar drink on the revolving menu and asked for it. The lady said she didn't have any dollar drinks. So I ordered 2 ice teas. When we went to the window to pay I again asked for the dollar drink instead of the teas. She said again she didn't have any and I said the frozen Cokes. So she said she didn't have large did I want a medium. Thinking it was the dollar deal I said ok. After we got our food and I looked at the receipt to find we were charged $3.98 for the 2 drinks. We did our grocery shopping and went back. I gave the young man (it was after 2:30 and different people) my receipt and told him my problem. He did give me $1.98 back in change (no tax). He said he couldn't give me free drinks for our trouble and shortage of drink. The food was very good (Jr's and fries) but customer service wasn't great. The 1st lady didn't bother to offer any options, no smile.
