Sears - bad battery

I bought a Die Hard battery for my motorcycle on Saturday 3/19. Got it home and directions say add the included acid but acid was already put into battery and sealed. I thought maybe Sears does it for safety reason since it is acid. Well it turns out battery will not work on bike, cables will not connect with terminals. So on Sunday, 3/20 I took the battery back to Sears (2100 Cottman Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19149) to get a refund and the same girl who sold me the battery said that since the acid is already added, they can't take it back. I told her it was already in the battery when she sold it to me. She said she it does not matter because they can’t take them back once acid has been added because they can’t re-sell it. I said but you did, you sold it to me. She informs me that I would have to talk to the Store Manager on Tuesday, 3/22, 2 days later. There is only one Manager as there is nobody in charge when Store manager is off. Of course on the 22nd I tell him what happened & he said the same thing (acid in it so they can't take it back). So now I have a $105 battery I can't use unless I change the cables on the motorcycle. My mechanic says he can do that so we decide to charge up the battery and change the cable. NOW (as it only gets asinine more), it turns out the battery is bad, will not take or hold a charge. This time when taken back to Sears, I do not want money back. I want to get it replace under the 9 month free replacement warranty that stated on the receipt for a "Working" battery. Nope, can't take it because acid is in it. I have to get in touch with Sears Complaint department they said. Complaint Department is NOT in Philadelphia, PA so have to call & write to get service, maybe? So I paid $105 for a Die Hard Battery with a 9 MONTH FREE REPLACEMENT WARRANTY that is WORTHLESS. For now on Pep Boys & Advance Auto for my Auto needs, Home Depot & Lowe's for Appliance needs, Target & Wal-Mart for Clothes & anything else I need. Don’t Go to Sears; don’t give them your money. Once they have the money, they don’t want to know you unless you’re giving more money. I am done with Sears after I contact better business bureau & Channel 3, 10, 29 News on Consumer [redacted]!
