Motel 6

We stayed 3 nights at Motel 6 in Coos Bay, Oregon. Monday thru Wed. June 28, 29, 30, 2021. When checking out we had to ask for a receipt. On the itemized receipt the room rate revealed that they had charged us $94.50 MORE for Mon. night than the other two nights. When we questioned the $184.49 Monday night rate rather than the $89.99 rate for the other two nights we were told there was a dune buggy race on the weekend ! (The race was over on Sunday !) They never disclosed the extra charge to us when we phoned in to make the reservation or when we arrived. We believe this to be unethical behavior and we are amazed at their unconcerned attitude when we contacted the motel management. Most Motel 6 motels have a neon sign showing their room rates for the night. Not Coos Bay. Their lighted sign only reads "kids free".
