I went inside to place a carry-out order. My order was submitted at 5:42 pm and I had to wait over 30 minutes for it to be prepared. The restaurant was not busy and I ordered two items, Blackened Chicken Caesar salad and Baked Spaghetti. After waiting 22 minutes, I asked the man working at the cash register if the order was almost ready. He said that it was being worked on and after another 15 minutes, it was finally ready. He had to remind one of the cooks in the back that the salad was a take out and not to be served in the restaurant. While waiting, not once was I offered a drink or breadstick. I appreciate that it is prepared while waiting, but the length of time was not acceptable.
I will not go back to that particular restaurant. It is not acceptable to have to wait that long. I was given an apology for the length of time, but not an offer of a free meal. I really feel that "headquarters" needs to be aware of this poor service.
I think a refund or offer for 2 free meals would be satisfactory as long as it wasn't for the Troy, OH store.
