My complaint is slow is coming. In 2016 I went to Aspen Dental for a upper and lower partial denture. I agreed to pay with a third party that they offered. I was approved. I have to say I was a bit rushed through this process. I started to receive care and went to every appt. There were so many other issues they concerned themselves with that I never got to actually getting the partials, I did receive a temporary one. By that time I was fed up and stopped going. My bill with them however was already covered by the third party. I was making the payment until I couldn't. This was a $6000 dollar bill for no dentures. I ended up with a payment with the Comenity Bank. I am down to a bit over $2000 still owed and not getting Dental Care with another company, one visit and $5000 less I will be getting two partials. This made me consider to contact someone. This is not fair and I am a senior that cares about my bills. I can no longer pay this and I feel I should not have to. I have no product for this ridiculous amount of money and what I consider fraud. I am asking for your help. Thank you, Marilynne Benedett
Aspen Dental - Fraud/billing
I had wisdom teeth removed 2016 for 3 1/2 years it was pending through insurance they were not responding to the insurances requests for documentation therefore insurance refused payment they took too long to submit correctly. I paid 600 up front in cash before surgery that was supposed to be what I owed after insurance. Now I have collections for money I dont owe. I have contacted them numerous times and keep getting a run around. They made around 700 dollar adjustments and I dont know how they figured that when my insurance didnt pay them nothing because of their neglagence and now 4 years later they are saying I owe 328 dollars and now its effecting my credit score and no one is giving me answers and it s very frustrating getting the run around. Thank you help me
Aspen Dental - charges for sedition
This past Friday I had scheduled an oral surgery procedure. I was told that I need to have three teeth extracted and that they would sedate me and with my insurance my out-of-pocket cost would be $418. The $418 was to cover 3-15 minute intervals of sedation. I suffer with extreme anxiety especially with being at a dentist and that was fully disclosed upfront. During my sedation procedure That only took 15 minutes to complete I actually woke up during the surgery procedure because the oral surgeon did not place the IV in my hand in the proper location and actually blew out my vain. I never truly was sedated and woke up in the middle of a procedure that was extremely painful and of corse-spiked my anxiety even more. I contacted the office today to find out what my options were as far as if I needed to have my arm looked at since the van is swollen and I have a lump in another van over the sedation may have been but it was blowing out because of the rate they tried to push it in my van through the IV. I have still not received a callback and I would like to discuss how to get a refund for at least two of the 15 minute sessions of sedation that were never given in the first place.
Your story is identical to what I am literally going through right now. I just got done sending an email to the branch manager stating that I will not be paying for the defective partials they provided. Unfortunately I have to send all the info to Dental First also stating to them WHY I wont be paying for the partials. You don't have to pay for bad products or services . You will be responsible for the extractions though. Not sure why you are charged over 6 grand as mine only came to $2800. Sounds like they are charging you for the "permanent " ones also in advance. Now, if you cant get things resolved, contact the Dental Board of Dentistry in your state. Mine is Florida Board of Dentistry. You file a complaint with them and they will follow up, , Make sure you have ALL time s, phone calls, paperwork and EVERYTHING you have dont regarding business with Aspen in hard copy. I am going to send you my email so check for a "seacaptain58". Would love to converse with you on ahow things go for you as I will tell you how mine is going,
I went to Aspen for dental help. I had to have several teeth pulled and was Told I would need partials on top and lower. They never could get the partial to fit right. I then received the permanent dentures and they were worse than the temporary teeth. They were so many sharp wires that cut my gums. They told me I had a small mouth. I still tried to wear them, but they were too painful. The doctor seemed to be exasperated with me, took the permanent teeth and said if I liked the temporary teeth better, then keep them and walked out the room. I have since been using the temporary teeth and they have broke three times. The last time he fixed them he charged me $60.00. My Balance as of today is $6, 978.00 which goes on My Aspen Dental plan. I owe this much money for teeth pulled and no teeth to replace the ones missing. Please, Please somebody help me. Almost $7, 000 and no replacement for ones pulled. beverly conner1313@gmail.com
