When checking into our suites at the hotel we were told that the breakfasts were included in our stay from the front desk clerk, Claire. We called down to verify this as well, being that we had 14 people between our 2 double room suites. They were on speaker phone and we were assured that the breakfast was included. After 4 days I went and put cash down on the account and asked why we were being billed for breakfast and was told that it wasn't included. The front desk clerk was there and told the manager on duty that it was her mistake and he said that it was going to be taken care of. The next morning I was told from that same manager that Claire speaks fluent French and misunderstood. And that he wasn't taking anything off the bill. At this point the refrigerator in our room wasn't working, the knobs for the light switch in the suite wasn't there, and in the other suite they have gone for 3 days without air conditioning. This hotel has done nothing but take ALL my money, give us a room that wasn't ready to be stayed in and lied to us to get more money out of us by telling us breakfasts were included and billing us for them knowing we can't uneat what we have already consumed... so now if you are considering staying at this hotel... this twice before you do... you may end up having the same issues.
we had their consent from the get go... so that doesn't even pertain to the situation
and we were told that it was included upon check in and verified to make sure before we went down for breakfast the evening before.
we were paying for 6 rooms total... a king a double and had a suite in the middle.. we had 2 of these suites.
Something is not right here. I think there is probably more to this story you aren't telling us.
As per the web site for Hyatt Regency Cincinnati... "The number of adults and/or children you have selected exceeds the maximum allowed per room. Please click here to return to the previous page and reduce the number of guests you have selected to view availability."
In what world would breakfast for 14 people be covered when you are paying for 2 rooms?
