The new store manager at this location is honestly. Not qualified to be in charge the employees get embarrassed in front of customers for being slow or not doing a good job or not doing things like a specific employee or the store manager is either [censored] talking one of her employees and comparing them to another in front of them all making them basically want to quit because she doesn’t like how they do something she doesn’t even out the effort to help or train them either as a witness she has told Cynthia that they employees don’t need to be trained at all they get told once and that’s all that’s her expectations if they can’t do that that’s why she verbally insults them and degrades them for not being the perfect employee she expected when she hired them . In my defense towards all these poor employees working for her after talking to a few working there now she is not training them at all she hired them and just threw them on the register they can’t even ask questions without getting told off by her for not knowing how to do something or calling them stupid or telling them to learn how to read that is abuse honestly what manager tells that to her employees then she goes off on them for not being the best store it’s not there job to make her look good the manager needs to learn to make herself better and learn to manager with respect the employees are not her punching bags I feel she’s even worst then the last guy who was the store manager before in order for her employees to get better she needs to be the reflection of that but she’s not . There are also times where she has told the employees to confront dangerous customers if they are stealing that’s not safe does she not care about the employees safety and the only reason I know this is due to the employees speaking out saying she isn’t such a good store manager that they rather quit then suffer her abuse that’s not right this is a good company and is deserves a good store manager not one that’s is worst then the last one .
Desired outcome: Should honestly have a meeting with her or have someone with the ability to manage the store and have respect for her employees instead of degrading them and putting them against each other

Im a plunber. I was on a site and i needed a tool. A wire cutter. Family dollar didn't have one. But they showed me a tool that might work. I bought a soft grip pliees because i needed a wire cutter. On the set of tool. It had a small one. It was to small for me to finish my job.
I came right back to the store with receipt. The [censored]. Manager denied me.
I read to him the policy and still no.
I called 311(BBB). I believe it was because im black. Because as i was on hold waiting for family dollar help line to answer. He said me being there is harrassment and he might call the police. Then i told him im been recording this and it would prove that i just been waiting here for someone above him to answer the phone. The next step if i dont get any help will be calling the police and the news about how the mistreatment of me as a costumer.
