On 11/11/20, went into CVS - Victory Boulevard - Staten Island to purchase a prepaid debit card for $250.00. I followed the instructions on the screen, paid in cash and even rounded up for an Alzheimer donation for a total of $256.00. The machine had difficulty and a cashier had to swipe his override card several times. At the end of the transaction - no receipt. I had them give me an "electronic journal report". The Store was no help. Contacted 1-800 Shop CVS/filed an incident report. On Friday 2 days later no one could confirm or correct the issue. Contact Store again, spoke to James, AM-no help-said he didn't even know his Store Manager's last name but I should call Monday. Connected Vanilla 1, spoke w/Aron-confirmed card FAILED @ Activation! Today, 11/15/20-no prepaid card and CVS has my $250.00. Attempted to call District Mgr Al Callegari since Aron told me he could give the store the protocol for an exception process-number out of service. This is ridiculous-the CFPA rep filed a complaint. I will contact the Chairman's office next if I do not get back my $250 tomorrow 11/16/20 - contact me @ [protected] or I'll go to the media.
CVS - overworked employees!!! rude manager!!!
While at CVS this evening I witnessed a lovely young lady named Hannah working very hard trying to help someone. One customer with zero patience insisted she be helped right away. Hannah's manager called her over after the situation diffused and I could tell that instead of lifting Hannah's spirits, she reprimanded her. Let's not forget all the great things these employees are doing for one young, can't keep her mouth shut, thinks she's entitled to royal treatment, nasty Staten Island princess. And as far as the manager on duty, someone needs to remind her that a compliment goes a long way. Let's see how she would feel if she was reprimanded the same way she was to Hannah.
