We started planing a trip to Punta Cana with Liberty Travel on May 1 2019, for my Son's wedding in February 2020. Myself, my Wife and my Daughter, would be travelling to Punta Cana. Liberty Travel put a flight and hotel package- Ref # 1364088- together and we received a price quote that seemed reasonable, the quote was finalized and emailed to our home. Upon receipt of the finalized emailed quote of $7, 506.69, the quote was then $666 more than the original quote presented to us, in their office. The next day May 2 2019, I spoke with the Liberty Travel agent and complained about the price increase and they said something about flight increases, flight changes and travel insurance, how ever they would address the problem and get back in touch after final scrutiny of price difference. When the Liberty Travel agent called back the same day, my wife spoke with the liberty travel agent and complained about the price change and the Liberty Travel agent started screaming at my wife over the phone and my wife said please don't scream in my ear, several times. Then while my wife was talking to the Liberty travel agent she claimed that your husband changed flight, however this never happened, we were happy with the original flight schedule. The Liberty Travel agent then presented a quote of $6, 840.69 on May 2 2019, which we accepted. Then on July 11 my Son changed his wedding location to Mexico, in light of all the health and well being problems happening in Punta Cana and in light of my daughters medical immune disease, called sarcododsis. I then contacted the same Liberty travel agent and explained the change to Mexico and asked if they would work with me and they reluctantly did at the last moment, while I stood there. I personally visited their office on Monday August 5 2019 and was quoted with an increase of several thousand Dollars. I see no reason for being charged $450, $150 per person. for unprofessional behavior and a unprofessional work ethic. My resolution, is the return of the $450 booking deposit. I am now in the process of dealing with the airline on my own, to secure a refund for the Punta Cana flight and have cancelled with Liberty Travel on August 7 2019, the entire Punta Cana package.
