I prepaid a mini-van from Economy car rentals through carrentals.com for the period of December 23rd-26th. To be picked up between 8-9pm New York time.
My flight arrived normal about 10-15 mins late but the immigration and luggage clearance took longer than expected as there were 10 of us. We arrived at rental location about 10-15 minutes past 10pm. The whole place was deserted! Closed. Not even a number I could call. I had to get back to the airport to get another rental.
I tried getting the car the next morning but was told I can not! I rented the vehicle for 4 days, charged & fully paid, insurance included about USD 1600. How can they refused the car the next morning as they have just opened?
I have no issue if they forfeit the first 24 hours of rental as I did not show up on time however they should refund me the rest.
I have tried many times calling them and they always asked me to speak to carrentals.com. Carrentals.com support has been friendly however they said they can't do anything as Economy is refusing to pay!
What can I do?

I came to the airport before I go to work pushing time, 02/24/2018 south conduit 25 dollars cab ride... For the clerk to tell me my card decline... Bank wasn't open yet as had to go to work... Call the bank to find out what happen to my card that I had to pay another cab ride to work that cost me 30 dollars... And the bank said he put in the wrong zip code... He didn't take the time to check what went wrong just went about his business... But other people after me had better result... I think I should be reverse my cab fare or a cheaper price.
