If you use Del Taco's app for delivery then you will most likely fall into this trap. If an item is missing from your order... you have almost no recourse. This has happened to me several times now so I will no longer use the app and will probably just eat elsewhere.
I received my order minus an item, this time it was a macho coke. I tried contacting Doordash delivery person but no reply. I tried to contact Doordash, who does Del taco's delivery here, and they said since I ordered from the app, I have to go through Del Taco. So I called Del Taco and no answer. I tried to use the app customer support but once you click that, it is empty page.
It is a scam and I never got the items back although I paid for them. Complete rip off and last time Im using their app and maybe last time going there.
Claimed loss: Macho diet coke, macho fries, and once, the whole order since the person delivered it elsewhere and left me no way to get my order.
Desired outcome: as if you will do anything about it. My hope is others will choose another restaurant and not use Del Tacos ripoff app
