Staples - Poor customer service

On may 15th I went into the store to purchase 2 reams of copy paper. At the checkout I inserted my card into the terminal and it wouldn't respond. The cashier asked me to reinsert the card and again it didn't respond. So I ended up paying cash. The same day I looked at my bank account and noticed that there were 2 charges of $15.40 (which is what I paid in cash) processing from staples. I called the store and the store manager ask me to wait until monday that they should go away. On monday I checked my bank account and the 2 charges were processed. I called staples again and told them that the 2 charges were processed. They told me to come to the store and to bring the receipt that they would refund me the 2 charges (since I paid in cash). I went to the store on may 20th to get my money back and spoke to chet the operations manager. He asked me when that happened I told him on thursday he went behind the counter to look his computer and asked if I was sure that it happened on thursday and told me to look at my receipt. I went to look at my receipt a cashier yelled across the store the amount is $15.40 to which the manager put his hand up and shhhh'd her. I told him that it happened on the 15th and very rudely he told me that the 15th was friday. He told me that he was only going to refund me $15.40 and I told him that I was charged twice. To which he started yelling "listen listen" you paid one time with the card. I interrupted him and tried to show him how I was charged twice and he ignored me. I went out back and was gone for less than a minute came back and told me that those transaction weren't appearing any where. He told me that I had to take that up with the bank. The workers there have no customer service what so ever. They need to take customer service 101 to learn how to treat customers.
