Toyota - Replace the 'un-repairable' tire with a new tire, per the terms of the warranty.

I bought the Toyota Extended Warranty with my New 2019 Toyota Highlander from Larry H. Miller American Toyota, in Albuquerque New Mexico. This warranty includes Tire & Wheel Protection https://www.toyotafinancial.com/us/en/vehicle_protection_plan/tire_wheel_protection.html
I ran over a screw in the Drivers side, rear-tire and brought my vehicle to Larry H. Miller, American Toyota. I originally talked to one of the Valets who measured the tire tread depth. He than went to the tire expert Andrew, who checked the tread depth with a digital depth gauge. Andrew showed me the readings on the digital read-out and stated that the tread depth was "in the yellow" and "the tire was not repairable". I informed him that I had purchased the Toyota extended warranty. Andrew then stated that tires are not covered by the warranty. I drove home, found my paperwork and returned to Larry H. Miller American Toyota and asked to talk to a manager. Chris looked my name up in the computer and confirmed that the warranty I purchased did cover tire replacement if the tire could not be repaired. I made an appointment for the next day (12/29/2020). I returned for my appointment and the technicians worked on my tire. They returned my vehicle and told me they were able to fix the tire and not replace it. I was told the previous day by Andrew the tire expert that the tire was not repairable. Per the terms of the warranty, if the tire is not repairable, American Toyota should have replaced the tire. Instead they fixed it (repaired it). If the tire was repairable, then Andrew should have been able to get if fixed the first day instead of sending me home with a potentially unsafe tire with a screw in it.
