Let’s start by saying it is Mother’s Day, so we expected the place to be busy. But this was beyond ! To start we requested a table with high chair or booth and a booster seat. We were sat outside on picnic style tables. When I again stated this wasn’t going to work, I was told I had to deal with it or be put back on the waiting list. Which would be an additional hour wait o top of the hour already. We had to suck it up and sit my daughter on my lap.
The drinks took an hour to come out. The orders were wrong, missing items and the steam pots had no seasoning.
We waited 2 hours for the food and it was nuke warm when served. The manage did nothing to help or assist. A complete waste of money and way to ruin Mother’s Day dinner! Disappointed beyond belief.

Joe's Crab Shack - My problem about the food. Unclean shrimps and over cook fish
Hope this reach the right person. I was very excited to go to Joe's crab shack in Clifton New Jersey. I am a shrimp lover. I order the 1 pound of shrimp and the Pirate plater, instead replace the grill fish with blackened mahi-mahi. When I received my hot shrimp I was so happy then my smile turn into a frown. Why is the shrimps not clean? I was told that corporate change their policy. How nasty is that. I told the waiter to remove this from my bill. He kindly did. Now here comes my meal. Love blackened mahi-mahi start to eat it the fish is rub. It was over cook. I was so upset. My companion and I did not experience good tasting seafood from your company. The only thing he said was his crab legs was good. Mussels, clams had no taste. He stated my youngest child could had cook this better. I hope someone look into this matter. You do not want to lose customers. I am a foodie and I always give family and friends report on my experience on restaurants but I can not give a good recommendation on my experience at this time.
