Purchase a half Honey Baked ham. The glaze was extremely dark and crusty most of which separated from the ham. The ham itself was more mooshy rather than firm and juicy.
I tried to salvage the outer parts of the ham so I had something to serve my guests. Unfortunately the taste and texture was not up to the HoneyBaked Ham standards I’m accustomed to. It went in the garbage!
Upon calling the Wake Forest, NC store where it was purchased I was told the best they can do is give me a 25 % discount on my next order. I have the purchase order saved as proof of purchase and cost. I was told that if I could not present the ham that is the best they could do. Obviously if I knew that was part of the guarantee stipulation I would have saved it! How ridiculous!
I’ve been serving Honey Baked Ham for more than 25 years. I’ve never had an inferior ham in all those years.
Claimed loss: $75.56. + tax
Desired outcome: I would like a refund of the cost of the ham: total $75.56 plus tax. I would even settle for a gift certificate for a ham! If this can not be resolved in either manner
