Costco

On December 22nd 2020 I picked up my prescription for 30mg adderall at the Costco location in Raleigh North Carolina. Once I arrived home I looked at the label to find that none other than Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals is the manufacturer.
Their adderall along with many other medications have caused multiple lawsuits and are a major reason for their filing bankruptcy this past October. I personally was given a script of Mallinkrodt from another pharmacy about a year ago which was not only ineffective but also caused side effects I have never had with Teva's product or any other manufacturer.
Once I realized that Costco had given me Mallinckrodts fake adderall I immediately called to insist upon a refund and to return the medication. I understand it is your policy to not take back medications or give refunds but this should be an exception. The script was only $25 so this is more about principal and ensuring that a company like Mallinckrodt isn't allowed to profit off their wrong doings. I was shocked to see that Costco of all companies would even keep their products on the pharmacy shelves. I hope that you take proper action to stop the disbursement of their medications.
